Nuntisiwas the Dreamreaver. An over the shoulder shot clearly showing off his expression and the grey on his muzzle. And also shows off the set of his tail and the way his legs are sprawled out while sitting.\r\nFor some reason I always do werewolves with only three toes behind. They've got a full five in front, but as you can see from his foot, only three on the back. I like how it look better. Even if it is technically incorect. As technicallly incorrect as a mythical beastie can get. |

Nuntisiwas the Dreamreaver. A closer view of his face, realy showing of the stricken expression. Usually when a werewolf is showing off this many teeth, he's angry. Nuntisiwas though seems to have more of fearful thing going on.\r\nThe expression is simultanously clearer, and yet, more subtle, in person, per the usual. |

Nuntisiwas the Dreamreaver. So why is this werewolf sitting on a riverbank straing at his own reflection? Go read the storyline. http://www.geocities.com/fenris_lorsrai/\r\nHe actually breaks a mirror in the storyline, but he's very image concious. And he's clearly dismayed by something he sees in his reflection. The grey on his muzzle? Or something less obvious? |

Nuntisiwas the Dreamreaver, top view.\r\n\r\nHere you can see the really neat effect with this sculpture, the water effect, where he appears to be looking at his reflection.\r\n\r\nThe water effect was done by leaving a hollow in the base and filling that in with fine sand, pressed into the Apoxie base while it was setting. I then painted the rest of the sculpture. I then put a chunk of mirror in the hollow and put a piece of plastic wrap on that. I then painted directly over the refelction in the mirror with very light coats of acrylics. I then took the mirror out and poured in a goodly quantity of Elmer's Washable School Glue Gel, which is this slightly bluish stuff that dries almost crystal clear. Let that set. Then drimmed down the little piece of painted platic wrap and laid it on top of the glue. Then poured sveral more layers of glue and let them set so the 'reflection' appeared to be floating just below the surface, like a real reflection. |

Nuntisiwas the Dreamreaver, backside.\r\nYou can check out the Rage storyline, form which he's drawn, at http://www.geocities.com/fenris_lorsrai/\r\n\r\nThis is the backside of the sculpture, for completeness sake. He appears kind of bluish in this picture because I adjusted the blue channel in Photoshop so as to make his fur contrast better in the photo.\r\nHis fur was a deep, deep gray (jsut short of true black) that was painted over with a deep blue wash to give it an oily look. He was then lightly drybrushed with a light gray to give him extra depth. There was heavier brushing on the mane and the muzzle (not visible here) to give the apperance of age. |

This sculpture is of Nuntisiwas the Dreamreaver, the Black Spiral Dancer leader from the new Rage CCG storyline. He was offered as a tournament prize at DragonCon 2001, in Atlanta Georgia. He was displayed at the White Wolf Games Studios booth.\r\n\r\nNuntisiwas was done in Apoxie Sculpt over a wire and foam armature. He was painted in acrylics. There's a water effect as well. \r\nThe contrasting on this pic is a little bad because he's primarily black so didn't photograph well.\r\n\r\nAll things Werewolf the Apocalypse and the Rage CCG are copyright White Wolf Game Studios. |

This is quite frankly, a terrible photograph, but it's the only one I have of the left side of Songs-of-Fire.\r\nThe proportions look all wrong because the photo turned out so flat. His tail isn't really that short, it's just flicked off to one side.\r\nI wouldn't upload it at all, other than for completeness sakes, because none of the other pictures realy show off the fact he's not standing on level ground, thus why he's positioned the way he is.\r\n |

A front view of Songs-of-Fire pulling apart some pipes. He looks a little oddly balanced in this shot, but that's because his leg is behind a pipe so he appears to only have one leg. \r\n\r\nYou can see part of the red section of his hair spilling across his shoulder. He has considerally less hair than I usually put on werewolves since he was described as being more straight wolflike. I usually like a real flowing mane of hair on my werewolves. |

Songs-of-Fire is a Red Talon Garou and thus has that spectacular red coloring to his hair. Songs player described him as being normal wolf colored svae for a triangle of scarlet fur starting between his ears and going to a point between his shoulders. Thus the dark on top, light on bottom color scheme with the red splash\r\n\r\nHe looks excessively cute for a werewolf in this picture. His tail was also mysteriously cropped out of the picture.\r\n\r\nGarou, Red Talons, and all things Werewolf: the Apocalypse are copyright White Wolf Game Studios. |

This sculpture was offered as the trophy for the Rage: Apocalypse tournament at GenCon 2001 and is of the previous year's champ, Songs-of-Fire. Songs managed to break the trophy curse and is so far the only person to have won their likeness the next year.\r\n\r\nSongs was made by carvinga foam and wire armature and then coating it in Apoxie sculpt, which was then painted in acrylics. Songs requested the subject matter, a battle against the Pentex Refinery. Since sculpting an entire chemical plant was rather beyond my skill or patience, he's only tearing into a few pipes to find the oozing toxins within.\r\nHe's from earlier in the year than King Al and Nuntisiwas and doesn't have quite the polish those two do. |

This sculpture of allonzo Montoya, the abomination (a vampiric werewolf), was offered as a prize for the Rage: Apocalypse tournament at Origins 2001.\r\n\r\nThe red on Allonzo's shoulder isn't a wound, it's bloody slaver. (yum, yum.) If you note the angle his body's at, that section of his arm lies directly in the path of where he would have flung drool if he been whipping his head around and been frozen mid action. That's also while there's some splatter on the base, it's along the same line of action. I think I might have made him drool a little TOO copiously.\r\n\r\nWerewolf: the Apocalypse is a trademark of White Wolf Game Studios. This sculpture of allonzo Montoya, the abomination (a vampiric werewolf), was offered as a prize for the Rage: Apocalypse tournament at Origins 2001.\r\n\r\nThe faint pink tone to the inside of Allonzo's ears in this pic was done by applying a base coat of grey and then doing a wash in red so as to give the appearance of blood flushed skin.\r\nThe bane sword in this pic was based on the Bane sword in Wyrm, but I chose to go with a slightly different design at the crosspiece which I THINK was vaguely influenced by watching a lot of Babylon 5 while doing the work. (so it looks a bit like the thing on Londo at the very, very end of the series.)\r\n\r\nWerewolf: the Apocalypse is a trademark of White Wolf Game Studios. This sculpture of allonzo Montoya, the abomination (a vampiric werewolf), was offered as a prize for the Rage: Apocalypse tournament at Origins 2001.\r\n\r\nAllonzo was done as a wire and foam armature with a coating of ApoxieSculpt over it for detailing. The colors were done in acrylic paint. The slaver was done by adding red acrylic paint to Elmer's Scool Glue Gel, whipping it until it was foamy, and then applying it like paint.\r\n\r\nWerewolf: the Apocalypse is a trademark of White Wolf Game Studios. This sculpture was offered as the prize for the late night 30 renown Tournament Illegal brawl for Rage: Apocalypse at DragonCon 2001. It was displayed at White Wolf Gaem studios convention booth along with a sculpture of Nuntisiwas the Dreamreaver and info on Rage: Apocalypse.\r\n\r\nOkay, so the backside of a werewolf isn't really that interesting, but this shot lets you see the detailing on the armo, his belt, and the spill of the mane across the back. I try to make sculptures interesting from all angles, but there's only so much you can do with someone's back.\r\nWerewolf: the Apocalypse is a trademark of White Wolf Game Studios. It was displayed at White Wolf Gaem studios convention booth along with a sculpture of Nuntisiwas the Dreamreaver and info on Rage: Apocalypse.\r\n\r\nThe depth to the fur on what was effectively a white werewolf was done by painting the base layer slightly off white color. We was then dry brushed in true white and had the highlights smoothed in with a finger. The fur was then painted with a dark wash and dry brushed again in off white. Thus why the edges are so sharp. In real life the fur is actually a few shades lighter, but I am photographically inept.\r\nWerewolf: the Apocalypse is a trademark of White Wolf Game Studios. The colors were added with acrylic and he was coated in clear matte spray Krylon.\r\n\r\nI used two different depictions of Albrecht to do this sculpture.
