Blood Jaguar
A jaguar priestess draws a thorn studded rope through a piercing in her lip to draw blood to appease the gods. The blood spatters onto slips of paper with the names of the mayan lords seeking the gods favor.\r\n\r\nThe design of "Blood Jaguar" is inspired by a 8th century stone carving of Lady Xoc making a similar sacrificial offering. The colors of her outfit are based on temple paintings from a similar period.\r\n\r\nBlood Jaguar is 8" (20CM) tall at top of headdress and roughly 6" (15CM) across the horizontal axis. Sculpted in ApoxieSculpt (a synthetic clay) and painted in acrylic.

Kitsune Netsuke- as pendant
Netsuke are tiny decorative carvings and sculptures used to secure the cords on traditional Japanese outfits. This little fox carving is inspired by that style, plus he's functional!\r\n\r\nHe can be used either as a traditional netsuke or as a pendant as shown here. Grimenstein con badge
Full view it, you know you want to see the little details of his stitched together head!\r\n\r\nBirthday gft for Grimmenstein the Adorable Abomination who's a mismash of stitched to together parts. It's Dr. Frankenstein's attempt at an adorable furry pet!\r\n\r\nNo his head hasn't fallen off his body (again) here, it's actually just his head as a con badge. There's a hook on the back to attach it to a lanyard.\r\n\r\nI forgot to get a good top shot, but he does have a fully finished muzzle and skull. You can see part of the inside of his mouth. There are in fact ridges across his palette.\r\n\r\nApproximately 4" square. Sculpted in ApoxieSculpt over a wire and plastic form. Sealed with shellac.
