Little Vixen Fireflies

I've been drawing Little Fox pictures for a while now, and wanted to bring in a female character to join him.

Despite their imposing size (breed standard for males is a minimum of 30" at the shoulder), these gentle and dignified giants are a loving part of the family. Great Danes come in a rainbow of colors, including Brindle, Fawn, Blue, Black, Mantle, and Harlequin.

I've owed Foxy an icon for ages...And finally got around to drawing one today. Hope she likes! =D

Snowwolf

I had to do tons of research for this one - wings, hat, you name it - it took ages and I have pages and pages of notes and reference sketches, but I'm pretty happy with the result. The pic is huge, BTW - 18x14".

Decided to re-do a picture I'd drawn back in 2003 - this was actually one of the pieces I used to apply to VCL. I still liked the idea for the character, but wanted to change a bunch of stuff.
So, here's an interesting comparison between my '03 and '07 work!

Toasting Marshmallows

A little fox toasts a marshmallow over the campfire. Do you like yours browned, or burnt?

As with the rest of this series, the gray stars are actually sparkly, and there are sparkly highlights in the campfire as well.

I saved the progression of coloring this, mostly for my own enjoyment. It's my first ever try at digital coloring! =3
