I was in the mood for 'cute' a couple of weeks ago, and this guy is the result! He started as an eye...then a big, round muzzle...and just grew from there. Randomness!

I want to make it into a t-shirt for her! ;)

Anyway, despite it's age and crappiness, I still somehow have a soft spot for this picture. I dunno why. It's my cha., Firebringer, posing in her normal form with her best friend/sidekick, a firedrake named Iloj (Eee-loj).

Meet Alouicious! This is the original, concept sketch of my male calico cat cha. Since color in domestic cats is carried on the X chromosome, normally only females (with two Xs, obviously) are calico; however, on VERY rare occasions, an XXY male with an extra chromosome comes around. They're usually sterile, but Alouicious is that one-in-a-million exception - a properly formed male calico! He's adorable; I love him!

Oh no, Fire got stuck in a comic book!

My co-worker, Michael, wanted me to try something completely off the wall. So, he challenged me to try to draw an anthro carrot. Here's my first attempt - a very human, female carrot.

And the third carrot, which turned out to be Michael's favorite: the Tribal Carrot, done up in war paint. I think it's for some right-of-veggiehood ritual his clan performs when they come of age. =D

I'm a history major, and Egyptian history especially fascinates me. I found a picture of scenes from the Book of the Dead in a book on heiroglyphs, and decided to draw Anubis at the scales, weighing the heart of the deceased against the sacred feather. I like it; it looks very Egyptian, even if I did run out of paper to draw the baboon at the top.

A lioness I decided to name April. It just seemed to suit her. =)

A unicorn from a frozen environment; he has short legs for heat retention, wide, cloven hooves with soft pads to work as snowshoes, and, of course, a thick fur coat. Old sketch, but I still like the concept! Arctic unicorns {c} me!

It's such a silly picture, I didn't think I'd ever bother coloring it - but I still find the idea of Prozac in a frilly apron hilarious! I couldn't resist coloring such cuteness. ;)

A very random lion-woman who appeared in my sketchbook some time ago. On a whim, I colored her fur a bit darker than a 'regular' African lion would have, so I decided that she's a Barbary lion. Pen and watercolor pencils.

A mouse girl at her beach house! Wonder if she'd let me come and stay with her for the summer...?

Mom is holding the cable box remote (since her favorite pasttime is watching TV), my father is holding a camera and wearing his photography jacket (he hopes to be a professional some day, and I think he might!), I'm holding a toy mouse for Sam to play with, and my brother is leaning on my mother. He loves to rub in the fact that she's now the shortest member of the family. ;) Incidently, it's hard to tell in this pic, but that's just spiky hair on top of my bro's head. He's probably had a crew cut for a decade or so now!

Round is good. Nothin' wrong with a little softness in a woman. Right? =)

A big pic! This is partly a reaction to my mother - she actually *yelled* at me for *not* squishing a little house-ant that got lost in the kitchen. To spite me, she squished several ants in front of me today and laughed at me. Go fig. =P

Look, I finally finished coloring it!
I wanted a bright, vivid picture evocative of something a child might do. Unfortunately, my usually-complacent scanner decided to EAT MY COLORS! 'Specially the reds, as you can see. Hrmph.

I'm not quite sure that bikini's big enough for her figure...But it's cute that way!

A make-up present for my mother. I still think she was wrong, but it apparently falls upon the child to make the actual apology. It's a bit more mature than I generally care to be, but hey, it's Christmas. ;)
