It was so cool - I finally got around to finding a beach by my apartment the other day (I've only lived here, what, six months?!), and I saw anemones, hermit crabs, great blue herons, and even a river otter! The otter was utterly unafraid of me, and even caught a fish while I was watching! He hauled it up onto the bank and ate it just a few feet away from me. I had to draw him. =)

And now for something completely different; an owl-woman! I rarely do birds, 'cause I don't have enough patience to do feathers.

<screams from the rooftops> I LOVE THIS PICTURE! This is as close to perfect as I've *ever* managed - at last, a picture almost free of truly glaring anatomical flaws (Oh, stop nitpicking already! ;), and with some practice in successful clothing folds, too! And I think she's totally gorgeous...her figure is a perfect blend of healthy muscle and soft curves. <sighs dreamily> I hope I can come up with more pics this good in the future!

My scanner hates me!! The colors are far more vibrant in real life - the middle background color is actually hot pink - but my scanner refuses to even hint at the real colors. (cries!)

I was going to color the whole picture, but after I got her hair and tail done, I found I kinda liked that look - so I'm leaving her as is. I was practicing wrinkles with her weird outfit; as you can see, I still need some more work. Getting better, tho. =)
