The coyote girl from Kritter's gift pic, redesigned. Not sure what I'll end up using her for.

600x723 66952 bytes 2007.02.28
My entry for Morphicon's t-shirt design contest. Their theme is "Techno-Furs" and I decided to base my design on the cover art from Fritz Lang's film "Metropolis" (http://www.geocities.com/Area51/5555/mtp_vhs1.jpg)

WHEE FIRE!
My February entry for Furtopia's art exchange thingy. The theme this month was video games, so I decided to do a parody of "VG Cats" -- specifically this one: http://www.vgcats.com/comics/?strip_id=190 (so that's meant to be a Metal Gear outfit). She's got fire for hair... hmm, that sounds familiar for some reason. ;)

400x560 75431 bytes 2007.02.05
"I want to be a citra!"
Yep, I've grown quite fond of Adam Wan's lovable little critters. Been doodling them a lot lately. This is my own Splotch in citra form (orange, of course!), looking particularly squeezable.

| Image: Coco_cloudgazing.jpeg
700x510 151359 bytes 2007.02.04
Chad Panther's character Coco watching the clouds roll by.

| Image: Howlie_Tigerpaw.jpeg
476x800 79660 bytes 2007.01.27
Gift art for Howlie Tigerpaw over on Furtopia. I had a lot of fun doing this, especially the fur texture.

700x632 95551 bytes 2006.12.02
Summer playing organ
Commissioned by Awash2002.

| Image: Koudoawaia.jpeg
600x746 116635 bytes 2006.11.18
My half of the trade with Koudoawaia. She's hard to spell, but fun to draw! The crackly shading was an accident; it started happening and I didn't know why but I liked it so I kept going. Turns out I'd set the tool to "Dissolve."

| Image: maddtimemachine.jpeg
850x618 199296 bytes 2006.11.18
Drawn for Furtopia's September Art Exchange. I got Madd, whose fursona is an extinct dire wolf named Dusty. The theme was to put the character in some kind of advertizing thing, and what better product for an extinct species to advertize than a time machine!
| Image: fox-rabbit.jpeg
900x559 110833 bytes 2006.11.18
When Felix's mate Fox Cub saw the picture I'd done of him in his Land Rover, he wanted one too, so he commissioned me to do this one of him taking his VW Rabbit through an autocross track. The original was brush-inked on matboard.
| Image: Splotch_spaghetti_code.jpg
484x503 76135 bytes 2006.11.18
For those of you unfamiliar with programming languages, "spaghetti code" is computer code that contains a lot of "goto" type commands, making it hard for other programmers to follow. Of course, I'm a horrible programmer (it doesn't help that I learned to code back when GOTOs were the norm) so I can be quite the Italian chef at the computer sometimes. ^_^
| Image: silas.jpeg
356x600 28557 bytes 2006.10.25
Commission for Silas G. Tomaeus. His character is supposed to be a cross between a wolf and a basenji (a breed of dog that originated in Ancient Egypt).
| Image: cobalt.jpeg
450x628 62019 bytes 2006.10.25
Another commission I did over the summer, this time of Cobalt the blue lion.
| Image: summer-mavis.jpeg
868x768 151184 bytes 2006.10.25
My new characters, Summer (the yellow dog with the keytar) and Mavis (the hyena with the bass). They're in a five-part band whose name I haven't settled on just yet.
| Image: littlebloo.jpeg
416x561 83695 bytes 2006.10.25
Crossover fanart for the online comic "Bloo Toons" (http://www.blootoons.net) and LittleBlueWolf aka "Little Bloo." I always wondered what would happen if she ever found one of those little... guys.
| Image: ozyandmillieincredible.jpeg
790x600 135877 bytes 2006.10.25
My first real fan art for D.C. Simpson's webcomic "Ozy and Millie" (http://www.ozyandmillie.org). This was for a contest; we were supposed to draw characters from the strip as superheroes, so this is Ozy and Millie as Dash and Violet from "The Incredibles."
| Image: vixenlounging.jpeg
428x574 62625 bytes 2006.10.20
Just a random vixen lounging around on a summer's day. Experiment with colorizing penciled linework.
| Image: tomflapwell.jpeg
450x750 62388 bytes 2006.10.20
Commission from Tom Flapwell aka Deckard Canine. His fursona is a species of fruit bat called a flying fox. The book was my idea but the title was his.
| Image: sharnashooting.jpeg
800x529 86981 bytes 2006.10.20
Sharna, my random Unreal Tournament type character, taking a shot at the red team. Early attempt at believeable lighting.
| Image: alex.gif
346x800 75092 bytes 2006.10.20
Aaaaand another character from the same series, Alex. She's the most tomboyish of the group, and the token gearhead and technical wizard.
| Image: aishahunting.jpeg
679x594 123079 bytes 2006.10.20
This is Aisha (tentative name) the leopardess, one of six main characters from a comic book series I'm working on. This picture technically is from before the series' beginning, flashbacks excepted.
| Image: cathousefordogs.jpeg
918x627 232146 bytes 2006.10.20
This mock ad speaks for itself, but it's actually fanart done for one of my heroes, notorious prankster (think "Banksy") Joey Skaggs. A complete explanation can be read here -- http://www.joeyskaggs.com/html/cat.html (enjoy, kids!)
| Image: dandelions.jpeg
600x468 74577 bytes 2006.10.20
Dandelion therapy... anyone remember "Bloom County"?
| Image: splotcheisner.jpeg
600x506 78230 bytes 2006.10.20
Splotch expresses his opinion of former Disney CEO Michael Eisner in a... creative way. ;) Done in honor of John Lasseter's new position as head of Disney's animation division.
| Image: krittercake.jpeg
500x825 101934 bytes 2006.10.20
Birthday gift art for Kritterfox, since his birthday is almost exactly the same as mine. Also the first whole picture I ever did with my tablet.
| Image: dalmatian.jpeg
610x377 59910 bytes 2006.10.20
A random doodle of a dalmatian from a page of practicing inking with a brush.
| Image: discovery.jpeg
958x634 242584 bytes 2006.10.20
My pal Felix Softpaw roving through the Shenandoah wilderness in his Land Rover. I drew this as a surprise birthday gift, way back in August '05. Colored because the scan didn't exactly flatter the raw lineart. Also my first attempt at drawing a real car from a believable angle; my only references were crappy JPEGs I found online.
