Akitas are a type of Japanese dog originally bred for pit fighting. I love Akitas, though golden retrievers and Bichons are my favorite. This one didn't come out too bad. Wish I had made the face a bit fuller, though.\r\n\r\n(c) Fish Kaiser

Hand coloring on PhotoDeluxe is hard work... Variations make it somewhat easier. Brought to you with decreasing effort by Fish-Kaiser. \r\n\r\n(c) R. "Fish-Kaiser" Fisher.

I'm on a portfolio-building mission again. A chimera, because I felt like it. 18"x24", Watercolor.

From the "Prince of Beasts" portfolio, the hero explains whatever plight he and his party are in to the king of Birds, Fenix Rex, in order to request his services. 10"x12", acrylic and watercolor.

Meet Flutinego, remodeled from an old character of mine from the 2000-01 period. Sort of jackal-looking, I guess. Hate the pose but the color job isn't too bad. Ah, water-based markers...\r\n\r\n(c) R. "Fish-Kaiser" Fisher

Just something in a long line of works to build my portfolio. I guess it came out ok.\r\n\r\nfrom pantheon.org:\r\n"In Russian folklore Indrik the beast is a miraculous beast, the lord of animals. He lives on "the saint mountain" and treads there where no other foot may tread. When he stirs, the Earth tremble. This beast has two horns, he rules the water with snakes and crocodiles. According to a legend, Indrik has rescued people from a drought. \r\n\r\nHis name is a distorted version of the word "unicorn"."

Done entirely with a Pilot pen while waiting to get into my homeroom. I didn't have any pencils with me that day, so I was kinda peeved. Not too bad for starting out as a quick doodle.

Not a cyborg, just a random bull with metal armor and face plating. I'll figure out a name for him later.\r\n\r\n(c) R. "Fish Kaiser" Fisher

I am reminded once again why I hate drawing gift art for people. Ever since I was 5 years old, I've been getting the same thing over and over again: "Hey, is my drawing ready?" or "What's taking so long..?", ect., ect.... People just don't want to wait. They'd like things done fast instead of right. If there's no deadline, then I go at my pace and you wait till it's ready, plain and simple.\r\n\r\n(c) R. "Fish-Kaiser" Fisher

Another piece from my AP portfolio. The hero and crew cross the ocean to the continent of man-beasts to hold an audience with the king of Lions. I think this is adorable... Micron pen on bristol board.

A morph of my cat, Rubin, complete with an Autobots shirt for the fact that he likes to mess with my 1987 Transformers action figures so much (Optimus Prime is his favorite). The two white patches on his head are actually bald spots. When he was a kitten, he was small enough to crawl under closed doors, which only came 2.5" from the floor. This is the look he gives me when I encroach on his space. He seems to say, "Excuse me, but this is MY space..." Good cat.\r\n\r\n(c)Fish Kaizer

It seems as though I was pretty close to making it into Yerf, but I need to work on backgrounds a bit more. As a result, I'm going through and working on various pieces in order to a) make it the second time around and b) perhaps get a few good portfolio pieces out of it. Watercolor, acryllics and Prismacolor pencils.

If you squint, he kind of looks like a roast turkey.
