Got Painter 7 to work, fiddling around with it. I like it, Painter doesnt like me. This came out.

Lion dancer and dragon... theyre done on bristol, cut on, pasted on fancier looking paper, used tissue paper to make the firecracker type thing. and cut out some red envelope designs.. [so I didnt draw the flowers and symbol]
etc!

Colouring took about 3 hours, a few minues for pencil sketch I guess.
Saved too dark for my liking. Maybe its better that way....

This is an old pic too. Was in my portfolio(along with that heron pic) when I took the high school exams stuff. Heh I got into LaGuardia :D...if you know what H.S. that is. Im not going there though..even though its a specialized arts school ;_; The CGd version didn't have a pheonix there but a pearl..it's on the other computer.

What do you see? According to my friends its a swan/elephant/fish/thunder/snail/etc...and a monkey eating berries. I wasn't really thinking when I did this but its a rollercoaster ride with a dragon behind I guess. I like the 'fish' though....on the bottom right.

We already know my scanner doesnt pick up 20% grey :(. Its a draughthorse(but you cant tell) and a shriketit. I think.

Whatever my fetid pile of a brain wants to do. Wolf thing with a head sticking out of its neck with a snarkycatpaw and a missing leg and a pokey tail and its standing up becuase I said so! ..... wolf that can balance good.

Practicing. Ive been using all these desaturated colours lately. I like them.

I did the left picture, Bettie did the right. I'm so sloppy with markers.

And only after drawing this I realize drawing these in Illustrater would produce much prettier results. I love Photoshop anyhow.

I had this old drawing laying around and I was looking for some charcoal for art hw. But. I dont have any..found some vine charcoal and I dunno. Played around because I procrastinate.
