This design was inspired by the pacific northwest coast style, I wanted to depict a wolf/dog guardian spirit. So malamute or wolf, or both - take your pick.

Doozy Dog Husky Wine

A custom label I created from a sumi painting (with awesome help from Blotch for the colorization and text! ). This was a gift for the fantastic guys at Sofawolf (http://sofawolf.com) who were kind enough to host Mbala and I as guests at their amazing Thanksgiving feast. (If you've never checked out Sofawolf's stuff before, go take a look! They publish many great anthro-oriented comics and books).

I didn't make this wine myself, just the label, but I'm going to try my hand at brewing mead sometime soon!

Double Camel Pendant

A custom pendant commission of two camels - a bactrian and a dromedary. I always keep these guys apart in my head by using B - which looks like two humps (bactrian) and D - looks like one hump (dromedary). :)

Approx. 1 1/2" x 2", pyrography on tagua.

Eastern "Earth" Dragon Mug

Here's a collage of the dragon mug - you can see a detail shot of it in my gallery.

This mug is about 5" tall and 4" diameter. The paints used are a special porcelaine paint that, once fired, are just about as durable as the cup itself.

Plugging away at commission work!
This is a dragon shield that I made and painted. Sorry about the photo glare, my camera is on its last legs.

The feathers are amazon parrot feathers, the shield and leather are deer rawhide.

Normally I wouldn't upload things like this - it's just a rough sketch and I tend to make stacks of these that just pile up around my desk and never see the light of day. But I figured I'd put this one up, anyways!
When I'm in a weird mood and want to draw but don't really want to work on anything in particular, I just let my pencil wander. This pig man has been stuck in my head for awhile, so he's what came out. With a lack of creativity, I decided to name him Orson. I love wild boars, but will admit pigs freak me out quite a bit. I think it's because they're too human.

Elemental Wheel Glyph Tattoo

A custom tattoo design, made to cover an existing tattoo. An elemental wheel representing elephant for earth, salmon for water, raven for air, and jaguar for fire.

Pronghorn Rattle

A custom rattle for Jadewolf, who has an affinity for pronghorns. Deer rawhide/leather, pied crow feathers (which are non-native and legal), glass beads, and coyote fur. It is a round rattle with dried corn inside and has a really fantastic sound to it.

Foxloft Fox Banner

Since my website is undergoing a major overhaul, one of my projects for that has been to create an updated banner for the new layout. Here is a truncated version of that piece.

Acrylics, 3"x8"

Acrylic on a peacock feather. Approx. 5"x7".

This piece was a challenge because I have never drawn frogs before (much less painted them) and working on a peacock feather was... difficult! Even with a good coating of acrylic fixative, the strands were very delicate and did not hesitate to split. But anyways, here it is, a little tree frog climbing on a peacock feather.

This piece is coming with me to the FC 2005 art show. It took me months to make, and the collar alone (which is made of over 2000 individual glass and liquid gold beads) took me over 100 hours to make.
