A 'leerhop', a forest sprite creature created by Ginger Cooley. This is my version of one, based off of a red-eyed tree frog.

Fox-Wolf Pendant

A custom pendant commission of a fox-wolf hybrid character. This one was a lot of fun to do! Shown larger than actual size - about 2" tall. This one is tiny!

Cougar Wedding Drum

I just finished this commission for a wedding drum. This one was a real pleasure to work on, it reminded me how much I adore working on drums and really want to do more of them. I had the challenge to work with 'playful cougar' and 'red cedar tree' to represent the two parties involved. This drum is 12" in diameter, deer hide on a pine frame. It has a rich, wonderful tone.

Hondo - S.W.A.T.

Ok, this is not the sort of piece I would normally do, and I've never drawn a gun or uniform before, so I suppose it warrants a little explanation.

My father was a police officer his entire career, and he worked with the K.9. force through two long-lived canine partners. He traveled the country and won many national awards for his excellence in the field, and he worked also as a S.W.A.T. officer, called in when they needed the dog for special work.
I don't know if my dad realizes what a big influence he had on me, and how much I admire what he devoted to his career.
So here's Hondo - his second partner, with his usual attitude - if only he stood on two legs and could carry a gun. ;)

Painted Dog Badge

I love african hunting dogs, their big ears and spotty coloration is just wonderful.

A gift for a friend of mine, a thylacine-wolf-snow leopard-dragon cross.
The actual image is only 3x4", and the scanner ate the colors - if anyone has any tips for scanning acrylic, please let me know!

Porcine Sea Monster

I have an affinity for boars (and their feral cousins) and was struck the other day by the idea of a hippocampus-type boar creature. This is the end result of that, a red river hog/koi mix.
I want to do a boar next!

Wild Dog Badge

A commissioned badge of a happy-go-lucky vietnamese wild dog character.

Boar-Tiger Badge

This one was definitely a challenge to do - with all the primary colors together, it makes it kind of hard to look at, but that seems to fit the character well. He's a white-colored boar-tiger hybrid with jade eyes, red and blue bright markings, a copper mane, and golden jewelry.
Quite the mix!

Likeshine Badge

A badge commissioned by Likeshine, who has a very awesome griffin characters. They really are one of my favorite things to draw. :)
