A tropical badge for my best friend of 14+ years, Liz, of her bat character, Skade. HURR. SHE R BATLING.

Yay for retarded stuff.

For those interested, I may be doing a limited run of retardedly happy tropical badges. Maybe. Time permitting.

Hey. That looks familiar. Oh wait. That's that same floater Paperdoll I mentioned in a prior upload. Long story short, nut shell words: cappuccino, okapi, Neapolitan ice cream, kai ken dog, Ginga Weed.

I have a thing for stripes. I wanted to get something matching an older character of mine, Tigereye, so wanted to play with her stripe-patterns and give them a twist. It won't be a fox end result - most likely a Kai-Ken dog as they have natural stripes. Okapi stripes were a base (I'll have to do a better shot at the rear/haunch stripes).

Anyway. Test result 1.

She needs a better name. Tora, Hawkseye are some suggestions.

If you haven't noticed, they're all very similar. This is because I've a free-floating Paperdoll for basic 'LAWLZ . DRAW ON ME' type uses. I've had this trio sitting on my hard drive for more than a long while. I honestly can't remember when I first privately showed the concepts for an older, longer forgotten, project.

I may go back into it. Harlequin type kitsunes for a jester-themed piece. I think the last time I dabbled with these were back in August of 08. I did, however, have a cool name for whatever final design I selected: Lunacy.

The last one, I swear... And again destined for the scrap pile.

I'm finally appeased with my 'ZOMG XMEN' geek moment. Sometimes you gotta do stupid stuff :} It's fun and amusing.

I was told I need to draw my boyfriend's character in Gambit's costumes. Hmm...

Now to get back to work...

I'll be shoving this in Scraps soon enough. I'm on a Marvel costume kick. May do one last one, either Jean Grey, Phoenix, or Rogue. Not sure.

These are fun :D

Alrighty. What good is a paperdoll if I don't test drive it? Well. I'm dipping back into old Marvel comic habits, and selected a random character/costume to emulate. Selected Emma Frost - the White Queen. I've other sketches of Frisket as Frost, but none of which that are finished or colored. This tides me over.

I am proud of myself. The costume was entirely drawn with
the tablet. I'm getting steadier hands. :)

I actually had not done myself a doll since 2007, when I did my first experimental one of Sutra.

Figured it was time to make a new one. It also serves as a reference for some. My dog character, Frisket.

The yellow in my little series. The fox was loosely based on a 'Shadow Fox', since they are white with a low color undertone (at least from examples I found).
Based it on a gold pearl, as yellow 'gem' in my series.

There are definite things I'd change if I did it again - in fact, this may be the rough draft. Depends if this one grows on me or not. Been sitting on my hard drive for a while now.

Anyway. Another fast drawing. Roughly 30 minutes.

What do you do at midnight? Why take the suggestions of friends, of course! 20 minute doodle.

The boyfriend, Ty, has been babbling at me how I needed to do up a sketch of this. Well. In the end, he made Nanook123 do a sketch. Then that was shown to Silverhuskywolf (on FA) and I got ganged up on to finish it. Silver does Caribou costumes that are adorable. Through a game of telephone (Tyler being the 'Telephone'), we shot back how pink had to be in the idea somewhere.

Long story short. This plopped out. Friskabou, a Caribou. She reminds me of a raspberry truffle.

**Disclaimer: I do not know how to draw Caribou. Woeface. So this is my lame attempt. Lot of anatomy issues. Again. 20 minutes. That's it :P

An image I did while doing Ustream to show people a quick demonstration how I color.

The sketch itself is several months old. Amazing what a "fresh coat of paint" can do for an old sketch.

The next in the little gem vixentaur series. This one is Emerald. I had originally intended on her being 'red', but something about the orange in the fox's coat made me pick green instead. Maybe it's the fact green and orange are good together visually.

The breed is a Cross Fox. Let me tell you something right here - They are a bear to illustrate. More precisely, their coat patterns. I took heavy liberation and I think mine is at least passable. Dunno. Few flaws I'm not going to point out. No image is perfect.

Emerald in the gem series.

I can't recall when the actual linework was drawn. It was well before the new year, and for a while, it's just been sitting on my hard drive with me having little to no motivation to finish it.

Playing with softer coloring styles. I didn't want to muddy the image with too many shading techniques, so it's a basically flat-coloring. The arms were redrawn with the tablet (still shaking) since I did not like the original arms in the sketch.

Alright. First and foremost the image is old. I've been trying to go back to it to complete it, but I lost a lot of my drive for the image a long while ago.

Originally, it was to be done before Halloween (to give you a rough idea how long ago this image was drawn and initially started (4 months or so). Seeing how I won't finish it, figured I'd just toss it up anyway.

I had planned on doing a theme of my warcraft characters in halloween attire. I selected Alice from Alice in Wonderland for Estella (Estella in Outland. Hurr) Background was going to be Zang' Marsh due to the mushroom scenes being similar.

Anyway. Yes. Wonky anatomy. Bad coloring. Starting of shading. I did like her face, however. Whoo.

A quick Warcraft portrait gift for Keekers of her scarlet tracking hound, Pooka. Figured since I'm slow on finishing up her fishy icon, this would be a nice little surprise.

Totally digging the speed-icons. They're a fun way for me to practice tablet work (slowly getting better with pure tablet stuff).

Enjoy Keekers!!

Another straight-to-tablet doodle I did to practice. I've missed drawing people. They're fun. Continuing my little 'icon' sketches.

There are issues with it, but frankly I try to limit myself to a certain amount of time to work on these 'quick sketches' as to not to make myself obsess over them. I'm really loving playing with all the different color pallets lately.

Yseria is my priest. She is based on the green dragon flight leader, Ysera, cause I absolutely adore the lore built around that character. Yay geekness and yay green dragon flight.

My nooblet hunter, Phyra.

The necklace is cockeyed. Woe face. It was another direct-to-tablet piece. I figured since I have a lot of problems drawing directly to tablet, the only way to get better is to force myself to do practice-doodles. So. Just doing random WoW characters of both my own and friends for the hell of it.

Mind the armor. I hate armor. Especially drawing armor with tablets.

Well despite this being the new year, the image itself was drawn on New Year's Eve at friend's. It's a stupid doodle. I have no idea what prompted me to draw it. Actually decided late last night to slap some quick colors on it.

I do not often draw straight into the program via tablet. My hand shakes. A lot. This was more or less a color-doodle I decided to do when I first started testing out Death Knight when it first came out in November.

The ONLY reason I picked a Nelf Death Knight was due to the option of having pink hair. Awesome.
