Grygon signing "why?" don't make me go into details of conversational versus citation forms of signing. please. or, email me if you have no idea what i'm talking about, it basically boils down to the comparision in english: in citation form of english you'd say "it is okay" but often we use conversational "'sokay". sign languages have the same deal.

Newest image of Auslander the SnowGrygon. Grygon is copyright Colleen Wright, me. Used uniball delux micro pen for ink, prisma color pencils for color. I do realize she has two left hands... it is a long story. Still contimplating a background full of our furry babies.

The copyright on the image reads '98, but I do believe it is even older. I drew this waaaay back when I was new to the "Guild". That was in '96 I think.

Thought I'd upload one old piece to show how ... I've improved. This is the very first image I drew of Aus. I even kept the mis-spelling in the title.

Prisma colors and pen and some smooth paper I rejected a year or two after this image.

I liked doing this piece. At least 5 reference pictures were used in creating it. Looking at it now I wish I hadn't mailed it already- the trees are so smooth and flat, they need bark! *facepalm*

Inspired by Rhapsody's song "Last Winged Unicorn" I saw a brindled one while listening to the song and drew her. Image copyright Colleen Wright.

I use tinted, creamy paper in most of my work. The scanner has trouble picking it up and tweaking photoshop settings often gives it a cream splotched, instead of cream smooth look.

Uniball pen and prisma colors.
