A Changing of Faith Cover Art

The 11" x 17" cover art for the comic Vipra has commissioning me for. I'm terribly pleased with how this piece came out. Its not too often I go for such a dark, nighttime-ish palette.

One of the three Halloween commissions that I spent a good bit of late October working on. I'm a bit late in posting them, I know. But I needed a bit of time to recuperate from spending Halloween weekend narrating very cold, very wet haunted hayrides.

On a different note... huzzah for Frankenstein-ish stuff! This is for escafanatic421. This is actually only part of the commission. There's also a mature version of this that's getting uploaded next.

Another one for Randy. This time he wanted to be paired up with a punk zebra. Mister Zebra turned out a bit more raver-like though.

Since the first image I did of these two sucked massively, I decided to re-do it. This is the finished result. I think it's MUCH better, especially the 'taur anatomy.

A Halloween image for Tizz and Vensik. I have no idea what inspired me to stick Vensik in a bizarre Invader ZIM outfit. I guess something about unwieldy head gear amuses me. As for Tizz.... Well, Tizz just likes Jack Sparrow.

The second of two pieces I was commissioned to do for Magnus for his birthday. They've actually been finished for a couple weeks now, but I've had to old them back until his birthday proper rolled around.

Digital con badge commish for Chromatose. But, that's kinda obvious isn't it?

Okay, what we're lookin' at here is $15 digitally colored 3" x 4" con badge type of things. You throw money and a description of your character at me, then I in turn draw. I draw like a baby hobo trundles away from an ambulatory sandwich...

Once inked, I flail at it with my tablet until its all prettified. Once done, I send you the high rez image file over email. And if you like to hold your art, for like an extra buck I'll print the badge out for ya on some very nice paper and I'll stick that and the original inked hard copy of the image in an envelope and ship it your way.

Just a small dragon piece done for the sheer sake of drawing dragons and playing with a bit of watercolor.

Commission piece! With two subjects I don't hit often/at all. I think this is only the second time I've anthropomorphized any dinosaur species. And its definitely the first time I've drawn any one in a French Maid outfit.

Uhm. Beyond that... Not much to say. Gotta move along and see about wiping out the last couple of pieces in the current to do pile!

They wanted Soanal to be in the middle of a classic escape act set up so I decided to go a little more dynamic than the usual imagery of such a scene.

I made more of the focus be on the later stages of undoing himself from the bindings. I think it worked out fairly well for something I've never really tackled before.

Holiday commission for Magnus who wanted a cute piece to involving his friends Twinklestah and Xandy that he could give to them for this lovely holiday season.

Of course, when I'm told "Draw something cute", my brain goes to the strange places where my own bizarre perspective of cute lays in wait for passerbys. A place where cute is perceived as yelling, craftiness, ridiculous hats, and jokes about taking and/or burning pants.

Twinklestah and Xandy belong to themselves. Xandy's pants however, seem to be in a state of transitory ownership...

Obviously this is the colored version of the graphite piece possumbite07 commissioned me for that was posted earlier this week! Glad they opted for a colored variant because I had a good bit of fun doin' it! Huzzah for noisy badger babes eh?
