It's not easy on Sabine, watching Bors torment himself for his mistakes night after night. The worst is seeing him wake suddenly in the night, crying and babbling about Hong Kong or Juno Beach. It makes her wish that she could help him. She's considered leaving him, but she remembers the good times they've shared and how it would destroy him if she left. He's not a bad person. He just feels too much sometimes.

All she can do is sit by the window, finding solace in a cigarette. Bors feels her pain too, and wishes to himself he could heal his own head, so his wife will stop crying. But it's no use... not until the war is over and he can silence his torment forever.

All they can do now... is cry to each other.

Yup, another Matthew Good Band inspired image. This was completed during a rather tumultuous time in my life. My feelings and thoughts charged this image, perhaps a bit more than it does my other images. It means a lot to me, and for that reason, I don't want heavy critiquing on it.

I was toying with some lighter shading, seeing as this is supposed to be midday in Bors' room.
