A badge for Sema!

A conbadge for Sema! She was my Chosen One for the February Conbadge exchange on LiveJournal :) I had recently done a conbadge for her and was surprised to have gotten her for my Chosen One, and I'll admit, I didn't really know what to do for this one, so I thought I would try a night scene :) Turned out well, I think :)

The nick-name of this badge, for me, is "the conbadge that took 3 years to complete". It was originally inked for someone at Anthrocon 2003, but they never showed up for it and never paid for it, and I've kept it around the house ever since. So, I finally found someone that wanted it and they let me know what colours to use and all. I'm glad it'll be going to a good home :)

Here's a con badge I did for Sheller :) I tried to get him to look as much reddish-brown as possible since I dont' have an actual colour to match that :) And for once, it's not a blue or green background! =D I thought that yellow would look good for this one :)

A con badge for Simtra! I had to try and fix up the background cuz the marker was laying down the colour smooth (it was streaking) so I used my blender marker and tried to make it look like a textured background...turned out pretty good :)

A conbadge for Soryane :) It was commissioned by her at AnthroFest, but I didn't get the chance to get it done during the con, so I drew it up at home :)

I know that in some of the pictures I've seen her character in, her wings are on her back and look more like tattoos rather than real wings. But...I love drawing wings and it would be a shame to leave them out, so I hope you like it Soryane! :) This was a fun pose to draw as well :)

A Con badge but with a little twist..literally ;) I couldn't think of any way to draw Spirit with the head and shoulders shot and still make her look like a Hippogriff without people still taking her as some kind of avian, so drew her con badge on the side and she got the full body shot :) I thought I was only going to be able to put SFP for her name, but I just wrote in the rest (which, no thanks to my pen, the writing came on my finger and I "stamped" a small part of it O.o but I tried to fix it up the best I could). Anyways, I hope she likes it :) SpiritFeatherPony is (c) her player

Oh my gosh, I actually did one of my homework!!! *gasp!* I'm hoping that my art slump is finally over and I can start tackling the rest of my homework...I *would* like to get them all done before Christmas.

Anyways, this is Stripes! He's actually a Zebra-striped horse :)

This is actually my 2nd attempt at his conbadge...the first one was Ok...but I did't like the way the head and left (his right) arm turned out and how that particular hand turned out too...So I just completely redrew it. And it out much nicer than the first!

Note to self: study more male torsos. A lot more.
