Keep your eyes out for more, coming sometime between now and Anthrocon. Drawn on 4x3" bristol board.

I've known Alaria ever since I came to Furcadia, and I finally got the chance to draw her :) She's a reversed Snow Leopard, shown here with her favourite flower, a lily. She's also a cool Furry Artist :) (c) her player

Albaster is one of my good Furry Art friends :) I met him thru my Guestbook, and found out he was an awesome Furry Artist, from Spain :) (By the way, you can see his work at www.furnation.com/Albaster). I drew this one for him since he drew a pic of me...MANY THANKS AGAIN FOR SENDING ME PHOTOSHOP!!! *huggles and ties a pretty bow in your hair* (c) his player

animeholly.jpg
Image: animeholly.jpg   525x720 163926 bytes 2001.01.10

I've done some anime years ago, in a feeble attempt at learning how to draw humans...Seems like everyone's going Anime, even in the furry genre...I just thought I'd give it a try :) Here's HollyAnn, looking a little sad...But I like the way the eyes turned out :)

animevixen.jpg
Image: animevixen.jpg   600x779 164782 bytes 2002.06.24

I'm not anime artist, but I drew this up at Bakuretsu Con (Burlingont, Vermont, June 21-23). I'll admit that I felt VERY out of place, being the only furry artist in an anime/fantasy con, so I drew this. I also entered in the art contest..it didn't win, but I wasn't expecting it to...I'm still very pleased at how it came out :)
It looks TONS nicer in person tho, the scanner ate the colours again >.<

annabelle.jpg
Image: annabelle.jpg   690x856 145028 bytes 2000.10.24

This is a drawing I did for one of Aurie's alts, named Annabelle, when Annabelle got married to her mate, Silverbeam :) (c) their players

ara.jpg
Image: ara.jpg   937x724 323473 bytes 2000.10.08

I first got to know AraKaraath from his page on FurNation (www.furnation.com/AraKaraath), and he's an excellent artist :) I knew, from looking at his character, that I wanted to draw a pic of him :) So I contacted him in ICQ, talked for a bit, and then the next day, it was done :) This is the 2nd drawing I did, using PhotoShop :) (c) his player

archerholly.jpg

Well...this is my lame attempt at trying perspective =P But it's not too bad. I definately need to practice it more XD

This little card is so full of markers, that the card warped and it's all wavy and stuff! XD I think my markers cried by the time I was finished this! LOL!

The think my favourite part of this piece is how the trees turned out in the background.

6x4" Index Card with Prismacolour and Copic markers...and a white pencil for highlights.

Ardrian and Lerrick

My husband and I are working on a new concept for a webcomic, where he would be writing the story and I would be doing the artwork for it. These are just two of a large group of main characters: Ardrian the lion/qiling (aka kirin/ki'lin etc etc.) cross-breed, and Lerrick the rabbit. The species/races in the comic will be based somewhat from the Iron/Jade Claw games.

We don't know when the comic will be up and running yet...Perhaps in a few months' time. But I plan on doing the comic as you see the drawing here: hand-drawn but coloured in the computer, shaded and fur-textured, etc. Er...couldn't decide what to use for the background for this...I just wanted *something* other than a plain white background =P

aristaya.jpg
Image: aristaya.jpg   820x634 186181 bytes 2001.10.29

This is was my entry for the Art Contest on Furcadia on Oct. 28th, 2001. We had to draw one of the Primes of Furcadia, so I drew Aristaya, the Unicorn Prime of Imagination. And I won as one of the runner ups too! Yahoo! =D *Reuploaded it cuz I added a shadow on the ground*

This drawing is for sale on FurBid: http://furrybid.transform.to/cgi-bin/auction.pl?furry&1005607978

arlan.jpg
Image: arlan.jpg   551x729 132183 bytes 2006.01.09

A character concept drawing of a role-playing character of mine. Her name is Arlan :) The horse part of her was inspired from seeing pictures of Gypsy Vanner horses.

I'm still not all that great at drawing human-like faces...but getting a little better.

ashlynne.jpg
Image: ashlynne.jpg   649x994 98579 bytes 2000.10.08

Other than playing Furcadia, I play The Realm (which doesn't have furries in it, but ah well), and Ashlynne is the head woman leader of my guild. However, I can't draw people for beans, so she asked me to draw her in Furry form. Her friends usually call her Bunny, so she's asked me draw her as a bunny, cuddling a teddy bear :) Coolies, my very first bunny pic! (c) her player

athenedragon.jpg
Image: athenedragon.jpg   868x723 313584 bytes 2001.12.31

aurinona.jpg
Image: aurinona.jpg   617x828 147327 bytes 2001.02.10

This Aurinona, a falcon-siberian tiger Griffon =D I was amazed and surprized that she wanted to do an art trade with me, cuz she's such an awesome artist :) In fact, you can prolly find her half of the art trade, here on the VCL, under Aurinona ;) Aurinona is (c) to her player :)

aurivin.JPG
Image: aurivin.JPG   538x628 123348 bytes 2000.10.08

This is a drawing I made for my Furry Artist friend, Aurie. I met her thru Ian Rain, and she's an awesome Furry Artist (www.furnation.com/Annabelle). Seen here, she's with her Furcadian husband, Vincent Wolfe. (c) their players

Image: aurora.jpg   488x714 93967 bytes 2006.08.02

Yet another drawing of a Gryphon...more traditional with the eagle/lion hybrid stuff. I'm planning on having a series of "season" gryphon pics, and this is the Autumn one :)

axl.jpg
Image: axl.jpg   671x990 202282 bytes 2001.02.15

Since Meg drew two pics of HollyAnn for me, I thumbed thru her page and thought I'd draw Axl for her as well ;) I'm kinda proud of the background, it's my first real official computer background, with all kinds o' pretty stars and stuff =D Axl is (c) her player :)

babyholly.jpg
Image: babyholly.jpg   634x663 153503 bytes 2001.01.13

bard_wip.jpg
Image: bard_wip.jpg   426x680 102208 bytes 2005.10.16

A fox bard, singing to what will be two lovely maidens :) A work in progress, but I just thought I would upload the bard, since I think it actually turned out rather nice :)

bardssong.JPG
Image: bardssong.JPG   896x620 177934 bytes 2005.10.20

And here's the complete picture of The Bard's Song. Over-all, I'm quite pleased with how it came out, which is rare for me to be actually be happy about my finished art ;)

Took a little over 16 hours to complete, from pencil sketch to the finished result.

Here's what the picture looks so far, with the bard and the maidens together. I'll be working on the background next.

"Blooming Vixens" Bookmarkers

This year, I thought I would try making bookmarkers to sell at my table at the conventions I'll be going to, but I wasn't sure of what I should do.

Someone mentioned about making them monochromatic (like my colourful furry fems), which was a neat idea, but I didn't know what I should have them be.

Then I remembered an old cartoon show I used to watch when I was a kid, called "The Adventures of the Little Prince". In the show, the Little Prince had a Rose Girl...which was one stem of a red rose, with a little person living in the centre of the rose. So the two ideas clicked together, and this is what I came up with :) ...and of course, went dealing with colourful roses, you *know* I'm going to have one of them going to be blue ;)

bluegryphonsunset.jpg
Image: bluegryphonsunset.jpg   507x595 103233 bytes 2005.09.12

Another print of a drawing I had left over from my colouring panel at MFM. I was just goofing around to see what I could come up with...I like the colours of this one :)

bluejaygryph.jpg
Image: bluejaygryph.jpg   660x510 109943 bytes 2003.05.15

Personally, I LOVE this drawing! It's not too often that I get to say that about my own art, but this one...I'm just very satisfied that it turned out so well :) It kinda got cut off a bit, because it's on 9x12" bristol board and my scanner doesn't scan that big of paper.
