I am really pleased with the way it worked out, and I think I should play with firelight some more in the future! These characters have a pretty complex backstory, and that was nice to work with, too. This was a bit of a challenge: they were to be depicted in kind of a tense emotional moment, but the piece needed to be yiffy, too. Hopefully, I was able to strike the balance. Also this piece made me draw wolverines in preparation. Yum. wolverines. ;) So these boys are (c) John Stanley, the piece itself (c) Summer Jackson.

	Image: Goldfurfantasy.jpeg 751x609 82771 bytes 2001.10.17 This is a commission for Chakat Goldfur, here happily fantasizing about previous fun romps with hir mate. ;) This is one of the reasons I like to do commissions and stuff for other people; I'd never have drawn this had I not been requested to do so, and it was fun to do! Note that this is the first herm image in general, and the first Chakat, that I've ever drawn. Chakat Goldfur (c) Bernard Doove. I'm also getting happier with the intersection of ink (here brushed and with a pen) and watercolors.

I was initially to do a pic of Diadexxus, the winged white tigress, with a dragon-winged male of reverse coloration her...on the page, he evolved surprisingly into a dark liger (generally I know what I'm going to draw before I draw it, but this guy sort of came into being on his own. It was cool.) Anyways, he's pretty cool and will probably be making a repeat appearance shortly! Diadexxus (c) herself and Dex the dark liger (c) Summer Jackson. yiff yiff!
