	Image: Cafe-Gratitude.jpg 800x550 94214 bytes 2008.02.22 Cafe Gratitude There is this phenomenon, which of course began in Berkeley/San Francisco, called Cafe Gratitude, which is half cafe and half fluffy new age cult. They serve agressively healthy, vegan food which is actually very good. Their gimmick, other than the food itself, is that everything on the menu is called "I am <insert positive adjective>" and when they serve it, the waitperson says "You are <positive adjective>" It's really a bit much, and I resist the temptation to tell them to can it. I mean, sure, I have my new age hippie streak, we all know this, but still. The thing is, I have been spending a fair bit of time with this lioness, and this is her restaraunt of choice, so I find myself eating there with regularity.

I've drawn her sans head a couple of times with...enthusiastic reception from some quarters. And I have to admit, it is kind of oddly compelling. But really, no one with a detached head should be that cute. Don't worry guys, no Canis was injured in the process of this drawing. A little thread and she'll be like new again.
