I can't really think of a snazzy title for this, other than maybe something about Lorelei bitching to the gods. "Woman's Wrath" maybe.

Anyway, this is the August pic for that 2005 BT Calendar that is slowing consuming all my galleries.

This is just the cover for BT's #13 issue. In this one Lorelei was recently changed into a snakelike demon, and the demon stole her fox form. Anyway, this is a larger version than the one that actually appears on the comic, which you can read here: http://www.blacktapestries.com

I'm not really happy with the way this one turned out. It was very much rushed, as I -had- to get it done before I left for vacation. So it doesn't have the detail and such that I like to put into my covers. The fur was cheaply done but it doesn't look too terrible bad. I spent hours and hours painting in Lore's individual scales, and they ended up looking like a filter made them. Next time, I'll save myself the time and just use a damn filter :P Maybe one day I'll go back and fix it.

This is one of those times where you draw a really cool BG, but don't know what to put /on/ it. Well I figured a coyote would be best. I used a photograph as a reference and airbrushed in the markings to give it an oil painting feel to it.

I'm not sure if it's quite a jackal, but that's what he most looked like so I'm going with it. He's a Shakarian, a race of shapeshifters in WAG's storyline project (http://www.wereartistsguild.org/board).

This is one of my RP characters on Kaerwyn's RP channel (cheap plug: http://www.were.net/realm irc.rpgworlds.com #kaerwyn) She's a DrakkoLupen, and the leader of the Etheric Kaerwyn Dragons... which are currently having a civil war. Oh well. I started this picture several months ago, but I never got a chance to finish it... til now.

This is J`khal, my drakkolupen character from Kaerwyn (cheap plug http://www.kaerwyn.com). She's the leader of the Kaerwyn dragons. Here she ponders her next "act". I originally used this BG on another drawing, but it fit in so well for J`khal that I just /had/ to use it. The advantages of computer created art :)

I was testing out a new style of painting in Photoshop, going for a less realistic/more artistic look. This is a subrace of dragons in a world I'm trying to create for the Were Artist's Guild.

As what has become tradition, every year a paint a picture of myself (Ze Brown Woofie) showing my affection for my mate (Ze Black Wolf). In other words, this is his B'Day Present, albeit belated. I wuv you matemate

Ahem, it was painted in PS 7, no filters were abused in this image. And yes, shrinking it made it lose a lot of details I meticulously painted in.

Hey it's that fox chick again... Yes, another character sketch for the comic. Lucky for Lore, she can shift on the fly, much like my Chevy Silverado.. heh. Erm, yeah, this is her in a fight or something, mid-shift. Gotta love oversized ears.

This wolf is stalking his prey by moonlight. He has the best of both worlds, the ultimate ability to track the prey, and the ability to use weapons to take it down. For your sake you best not have broken his concentration.

Another 800x600 sized wallpaper for Black Tapestries. Once again Tessemer, Lorelei's mate, is in this one, where he will not be in the comic itself (at least, he won't be the same as the RP sessions...) Anyway, it's a PS pic, and I cheated, the water was filter-made. Everything else is airbrushed.
