This is October for the 2005 Black Tapestries Calendar. Whew, been working on this one for over a year. Had to rush the end though, so I'm not too happy with the sloppiness of it.

Lorelei of Black Tapestries (Cheap plug http://www.blacktapestries.com) When she's not running away from the Order, or shifting against her will, she pauses for a moment to play her fiddle. This is "October" for the BT/Shifters Calendar.

This is a portrait of how I see myself as a dragonwolf.

Might make this a Kaerwyn RP character, dunno (cheap plug http://www.kaerwyn.com). She's the princess of Makalu, which is actually the name of a mountain in the Himalayas... which is the native territory of Snow Leopards.

It was done completely in PS, from start to finish. It's all brushwork folks. I don't really like the way the mountains came out, they look cheapy-fake. Oh well.

Woof.

Okay so, if you read "The Realm of Kaerwyn" (http://comic.kaerwyn.com) You know that Tessemer is one of the main chars. Well in the public Kaerwyn, (Which is much different than the storylines of the comic), Sisari, this real bad dragon, has a thing for werewolves. See some people like cats, and other people like poodles, but she likes well trained, people-slaughtering werewolves. She's changed the entire town into werewolves, so why not Tess? So in went the wolf demon to possess him.

But the wolf demon chose a form like no other. He's furless over most of his body. I was inspired. I wish I could have spent more time working on it, it's got some anatomical errors and such that I'm not happy with. Infact, the thing I like the most is the cheap-ass pinetree backdrop.

This is a wallpaper I created for my comic (Black Tapestries) out of the blue (was bored and needed a break from commissions). Feel free to use it if you like it. I have a 1024x768 version as well, just email me if you'd like that one (Jakkal@shifters.org)

Got me onna them anatomy reference books fer mah comic. I could definately use the practice on the female anatomy... despite the fact that I'm female. This was just a crude sketch, but I thought "what the hell" and colored it on PS.

"Morning Trek"

This is my latest RP character in Kaerwyn (kaerwyn.com). Her name is Desert Rose and she's from the Shakarian race of shapeshifters. They loathe technology and strive for the way of life and follows and reveres nature as if it's their god.
Needless to say, she's a dissenter, prefering technology to nature. Though even Rose finds herself out on the morning trek to recover what she's lost.

This is my half of a pic trade with my good friend Yelth (http://www.were.net/~rrb). It originally didn't have a background, and at the same time, didn't look right. I tossed in the BG from the Werewolf Link picture and I think it suits it well.
