I like this drawing.
Because it could have ended in the trash can again, and my stupid mind kept telling me, "come on, finish it, you know you want to". So *sighs* I finished the drawing. And my, how happy I am I did it!.

The original name was "What I am going to do?". But it could cause confussion. It could be that Alex has no idea what's he going to do, or that he is not proud of what is he going to do. So to save you useful time to discover what I tried to say, I just leave it at that simple title. What have I done? Maybe that's what he is thinking.

Another variation on the profile, is amazing what you can do with a profile. From top to bottom: The clonated people. Alex handing a gun. The Eiffel Tower. Is funny, the tower looks more like a petrol plattform. The Eiffel Tower is there just to simbolize the city where the action takes place. I was about to put there The Arch of Triumph, but The Eiffel Tower is more signifficant.

Probably, the smallest file I have uploaded to VCL. Only 16 kbs. I must be looking for something smaller to beat that. When drawing this, on a horrible jet lag I suffered during an airplane journey, I had the idea of show my favourite character's profile, literally.
Alex has a fantastic profile for me, I really like it, and for the cover of a book must be more than perfect. Inimitable is the title, and here is his profile, showing that he is un-copyable.
The tag line, well, is a joke. Remember than this book is about cloning and the singularity of each living, breathing being.

I tried to achieve a sense of claustrophobia with this. This is the cover of a book I am writting. Actually not will be used, because I drew it just for fun, because I love Alex's character and how he is, and this picture shows him really safe less, weak and without possibility of survive. Seeing this you know he is going to die, maybe of starving and de-hydratated, or maybe because he will blow up his brains.
Undoubtely, inlfuenced by amazing and thrilling CSI two chapter "Grave Danger" by Quentin Tarantino.

Another set of faces for Alex. As you know I used the great film star Tom Cruise as an inspiration for the faces expressions. I admire him a lot, he is great.
Son here we have like...three Vincents from Collateral, two Etahn Hunts from Mission Impossible and four John Andertons from Minority Report. You can guess which face is which. Ha ha :D

Nine is a good number.
Here is Alex, a character I created and built just for one thing: Make an homage to my favourite actor at this time. And that is Tom Cruise. I like a lot his performances and all the characters he did and will do. I am an admiror of him, I admit it, so for make the expressions of Alex I focused on the expressions of Tom Cruise on three movies, for me his most impressive performances: Minority Report (John Anderton), Mission:impossible (Ethan Hunt) and Collateral (Vincent)
Alex has a little bit of each character, so is like mixing those three in each little drawing, which is not easy. As you can see, Cruise gets everywhere, even into my mind and right to the paper of my artwork.

It's been a long time since the last picture of Alex I made. Alex is a very apreciated character by me, it's maybe the one I like the most, so it's weird I don't make more pictures of him. Maybe there is not enouhg inspiration.

Here is Alex. Cool, really great Alex. Here he has no wings, maybe because they are a pain in the ass to make. But he looks alright in that nice pose and the gesture he makes with the hand. His weapon is the Dante 666 .50, which you can watch in the weapons section.
