An early favorite. A leopard reaches out a helping hand after fighting off an alien menace. My good friend, Shawn Heath, has naggedme relentlessly about this picture. "There should be a car in the background, not a dead alien. A _CAR_." Unfortunately, everyone agrees with him. Ingrates... I'll show them all... *grumble*...

This was an interesting commission. The client was fascinated by an earlier picture of mine (Savior.GIF), and wanted a picture from the same uiverse, but with a wolf instead of the leopard, and a dead motorcycle in the background, rather than a dead alien *grumble*. One of these days, I'm going to have to flesh out the story behind these Angels of Mercy.

I started with the pose, and wondered what species to make her. I decided there weren't enough sexy amphibians around here. Plus, drawing from behind means I don't have to cheat and draw salamander boobies. \r\n\r\nWatercolor image, up at Anthrocon.

For Shanti_Wolf on IRC, a friend of mine from back in Edmonton. It's a polaroid photgraph of Shanti the dragon-wolf on her custom chopped Harley. Fun little way to make a poorly centered original look right. ;D

Skystar of FurryMUCK, cooling her toes in a reflecting pond. Colored in Superpaint.

"A Small Army", small rodents on large insects ready themselves for battle. Watercolor, the original is 24" by 18" framed.

This is an old picture, but I'm finally alowed to upload it. This is my younger brother's (now long-defunct) red panda character, Tabasco. He was also to serve as the animated mascot for a cooking show plot he was working on, but has since let that lapse.

An interesting individual I met while on Taps. A shapeshifter. The natural form is the bubble, this cat is appaently one of it's more popular forms. She/he/it liked it. =)

Not quite my usual subject matter. This was on commission for Vega Altair. Some warriors try and fend off the demon spider that has been feeding off the girls of the village. It dosen't seem to be their day; who will emerge victorious?!

Baaa... *thwiip* SWING!\r\n\r\nIt's Spider-Goat, and his amazing... udders?!\r\n\r\nInspired by a recent story in the Washington Post. A genetics company has spiced the gene for spider silk protiens into dairy goats. These new transgenic goats produce milk that can be refined into spider silk, with a tensile strength of 60,000 Lbs. It's 5x stronger than steel, and can be woven into Bullet proof vests hat are lighter and stronger than Kevlar.\r\n\r\nAs cool and harmless as all this is, I still get images of this in my mind. Well, that and goats that chitter, climb walls and devour each other.

It's Anthrocon Time!\r\n\r\nI've wanted to do some Armadillos for a while now. I figured a SWAT theme would suit the nature of their Texan location. Those are actual weapon models\r\n\r\nThe original will be for sale at the Anthrocon Art show.

Part of a series of model sheets for Talin: the swift fox from the earlier "Old Barn" picture.

Ok, this was fun. One pretty, and non-typical femme otter, 3 unusual animals, Multiple implied puns, and two movie references. Not bad for an underwater adaptation of those old poker paintings. ;D For sale at AnthroCon.

It's another art trade! This one is for Opal Weasel, who drew Platinum in return. You can see his great sketch back at http://www.kitsunestudios.com under the Guest Art section! Thanks Hellenic!

An odd dream: myself and all my friends were normal humans in an LA college (?) but there was a single rabbit-morph who was one of my best friends. Wierd. So let's just say I was inspired. Tempest Rabbison ©2000 Kitsune.\n

A Tiger Samurai lord, in the style of the old Japanese prints. Going into the AC Art show. \r\n\r\nI really do love the classic japanese prints. The flow, detail and vitality are always fun to look at, as are the unusual contortions of the body. I just find it the most expressive and lively of the pre-Rennaisance art-forms.

Before I started drawing Furry critters, I drew dragons. I guess this is me getting back to my roots. Trantalin Darksbane, a draconic warrior, and one of my oldest recurring characters. (c) me, therefore.

Cheyene, Delahaye and Avanti of FurryMUCK. The Nissan in this image was given to me as photoreference. When I finished the gift, I discovered the player of these three had recently come into ownership of this exact car (in white), customized to the f***ing _GILLS_. Unfortunately, it was in storage for the winter, so I couldn't get a ride in it. Shucks...\r\n\r\nArtistic note: I think this will be the last time I use this heavily Photoshop "Super Cel" color style, so I can focus on improving my color technique. Besides... I got markers for christmas! =D

o/~ My funny Valentine... o/~ It was either this, or be angsty and alone. This was more constructive, i think. =) Dedicated to my friends at the Studio Les Artists on FurryMUCK.

A rather busty female otter supermodel in the twilight sunset. One of my earliest furry pictures, this was colored using "Superpaint", an 8-bit Macintosh painting program.

Contest is long over, so time to alter the descriptions here. The three creatures are from Dougal Dixon's 1981 book on Evolution: "After Man: A zoology of the future." This is a Falanx, a predator rat evolved to replace the extinct canine. Here, seen as a warrior huntress, taking the head of a common Rabbuck, a rabbit evolved to replace deer. creatures are ©1981 Dougal Dixon.

Another creature from Dougal Dixon's"After Man: A zoology of the future." "After Man" demonstrates the theories of evolution by hypothisizing what creatures would look like in 50 million years, if man went extinct. This creature is an anthro 'Rootsucker', a desert dwelling mammal similar in evolution to the armadillo or tortise. Creatures are ©1981 Dougal Dixon.

Another creature from Dougal Dixon's"After Man: A zoology of the future." "After Man" combines good science with BEAUTIFUL artwork. This is a Truteal, a blind insectivore (The dark spots are nostrils). Creatures are ©1981 Dougal Dixon. In case I haven't made it clear, you should go find yourself a copy of this book. ;D

This is a somewhat more realistic image than the ones I usually do. It's my version of a Palladium RPG Wolfen; I got tired of the toothpick-legged monsters in the illustrations, and thought I should try my hand at one.\n

Pokemorph #2: Yllectra, a Raichu (Big Electric Rat) on Team Ruby. While not as powerful as her little sister Lexi, She is the more mature and (Ahem) Grounded of the two. She shares her sister's zeal for life and, ah, sparkleing personality though, and lights up a room with her presence. *Puns ahoy!*\n
