There have been attacks around campus lately, usually targeting the gay community. Makes me worry for my gay friends. So this is sorta like a 'what-if' piece... what if I stumbled upon some thugs beating up my friend? Well, I'd toss myself right in there and fight, come what may, to my destruction. Hopefully it won't come down to that.

I did this in honor of a friend of mine who has BDD, and is struggling with coming out and stuff like that. The truth is that we hadn't really talked (at least not seriously) until the first night all this happened. So he was feeling strange, talking to me without us having talked much before. And yet, he was comfortable. But why wouldn't he be? You can always trust the dog.

I made him look less mule-ish and more horse-ish. I suppose I don't seem as something so dumpy and usually thought of us a 'dumb animal'. Horses, on the other hand, achieve a sense of respect almost immediately. More appropro, I think.
