The squirrels outside my apartment are super jerks. They eat all the seeds and the birds sit there, just waiting for their chance. It's like the squirrels are a violent gang.

Not my best effort, but I just wanted to fully test drive the new colors before making a decision. I personally like them a lot. However, I've gotten a bunch of feedback, half of it FOR the change, half of it AGAINST. That doesn't help! :) I think I'll continue with the red and white endeavor for a bit longer, then see how I feel. Yes, the gray makes her original, and yes, just because it isn't breed standard doesn't mean it can't happen. But I WANT breed standard. It's hard enough to tell what breed she is anyway!

But ah well. Summer's comin!

An idea I had months and months ago. Neat.

I talk with my boyfriend on Sundays, usually curled up in a blanket, cramming myself in the corner of my futon ^^ Sometimes, I accidentally get my head stuck... but don't tell, because it's kinda a long story, and embarassing! ^^

My boyfriend told me once that the first time he heard the song 'Superman' by Five For Fighting, it brought tears to his eyes. If it were any other person, I'd have beaten them up for being a wimp, but coming from him, it's so sweet and sad and cute.

This is a drawing I never did anything with, because it involves someone who I had found out not longer after (drawing this) was lying to me. But I like the image, so... I turned the lines cyan and colored it in orangey-pinks. I like how it turned out.

A commissions for Brian McGeorge. I like how the scales came out, since I was experimenting with a new technique, but I think the look would have come out better if the subject were larger and more defined. Ah well. A lesson learned.

Here's my latest commission, which I enjoyed. Good subject matter, great person to work with, and I was smart enough to get the money BEFOREHAND this time (a lesson I sorely relearned this summer). I especially like her coloring, and the greener glowerstick's glow. Shwang!
