Chakat Midnight and Zhane the Rakshani walk happily side by side.. Midnight is not a small chakat - Zhane is very tall, about 7'2" .. which is typical of the Rakshani.. characters are © Bernard Doove.

Karla the bat eared fox, reclining in an open silk robe. I'd never drawn a bat eared fox, and darnit, they're so cute, I couldn't resist! A quick watercolor painting on bristol.

Done with Micron pen, acrylic paint, and a little marker. I'm using more and more acrylics. There was a time I loathed acrylics.

A quick painting I did for fun inbetween commissions... I love that teal color - its a brand new acrylic paint I bought recently - I've never been able to have a computer recognize teal before - it always turns it blue, and I have to mess with the color in photoshop to get it more accurate - but this paint it recognized - hurrah! Done in micron pen, watercolor and acrylic paint..

A commissioned illustration for the Folly story on the Chakat's Den, this is Neal getting smothered by Velasco and Croix, two Rakshani girls... Rakshani are about 7' tall, and have a strong and busty build - I don't think Neal minds the lack of oxygen to the brain he's experiencing at the moment...

And have I ever mentioned tiger stripes are such fun to draw? =)

Karl and Pandora snuggle by the fire on an early morning in winter... Pandora is pregnant with their child... A tender image =).

I put a lot of effort into the lighting on this one - to get the firelight and the cool wintery light reflecting off the snow through the window... The media used in this piece are markers, colored pencils, watercolors and acrylic paints...

A cute bunny girl invites you to get close...

I like the pillows... they remind me of red wine...

Cirrus the eastern dragoness, warmed by the morning light, and cooled by the wind whipping through her fur... I was going for dynamic lighting and positioning ^.^...

It'd been too long since I'd drawn Cirrus, and she is a favorite of mine =). Done mostly in acrylic paints, with micron pen for outlines and tria marker for some base colors on the character... little accents as well in mechanical pencil.

Nyghtwulf and her girlfriend spending a romantic holiday together... the warm fire keeping them warm through the cold weather.. Characters are © their respective players, and this is the first piece I've finished in the new year ^.^ yay!

My first piece experimenting with celtic knotwork... Fairly simple, yes, but it is my first try... I designed her wing coloration to mimic stone...

Now in color ^.^! I chose Eucalyptus trees for the background, as I believe that is their natural environment... I love the bark on Eucalyptus trees - I used to enjoy snapping bits of it off - its so smooth and comes off evenly. Done in marker, colored pencil, watercolor, and acrylic ink.

A nude vixen diving into open ocean... I think the caustic lighting helps connect her to the partial background.

A feline djinni emerges from a golden lamp... I like the colors on this one =). That border, though simple, was actually quite complicated to do ^.^, In retrospect I probably should have done a bit more detail on the 'cloud'..

A feline/clownfish mermaid swimming with two striped dolphins... I like how the cream of the feline is mirrored in the cream of the clownfish stripes (modeled after a maroon clown, actually) I also like the dark blue shadowing showing where the light rays from the surface are blocked by the characters.
