Balloon Pony Version 1

This 3D model, created in lieu of a friend's costuming project. He basically wished to create a stencil decal of a balloon pony. I told him I would give it a try. While a 2D one created by another artist was done, he may end up using a 3D one in the future. This may mean that I will modify this model for the sake of resembling some of the few changes done by the 2D artist.

Note: I think the format of showing off 4 views (usually front, top, side, and back) is how I will display my 3D stills in the future.

This is screen cap #4 - The bikepump. Basically Im showing the simplicity of primatives used in creating this.

A strange perspective...kind of. I have always wanted to make a drawing with the subject's chin up in that fashion. Now I took advantage that my model is like a maquette and can be posed anyway she likes. Through this project (as this was the first pose) I learned to set joint limits to keep any Exorcist-like moments from happening.

This is an action shot of my 3d rendered version of my character. I wanted to see how I could make her interact with simple objects. She is very talented, isnt she? I know I have the urge to delve back into making more 3D art.

There I wont bore you with anything more of Claire like her other side view or anything. I hope to work more on 3D when I get a chance.

This is a side view of her. I just panned the camera around in Maya. Im thinking of making a turn around animated image if I can make it work and be postable on Deviant Art.

This is the front view of Claire the Bunny. I have a sucession of these for the sole purpose of demonstrating my character from each side of them . This was created in maya3d as all my 3d Deviations are made.

I created this in 3D while on my final project in college. I really wanted to create an anthropomorphic character badly. I took a few test shots of my character in various positions since I had gotten the IKs setup and could "pose" her in anyway I wanted. While there are no leopard spots on the figure, she is meant to be my fursona.

This pose was based on a drawing I did long ago of another creature in a similar positon.
