Tillis, Shalk.

My character Tillis in the ruined city of Shalk, once home to the wolf kind.
It has since been decimated by humans who hunted the wolves down and corrupted their souls.
Few wolves are left in the city of Shalk and the ones that are have become savage beasts that will kill any living being without remorse.

Weapons Master Custurd.

My character Custurd on one of the many trials a trainee weapons master has to undertake to ern the right to become a true weapons master.
Here she is navigating the putrid swamps of the Saltclaw where she has been given the task to eliminate a number of vicious skraws.
Her weapon of choice is her own blade which she has named "Sister"

Trade: Midnight - Angel-of-life

My part of a trade with fellow FA and DA friend Angel-of-life.
This is his character Midnight drawn in my style.
He requested that I draw her in some underwear and situated within the same sort of hot springs that I did in one of my own pictures a couple of years ago.

Was enjoyable drawing her, Somewhat challenging to draw a character with large breasts and not to make them look silly. I hope I achieved it.

Nikki, the trader.

She is in the markets of Forge which are populated by many traders selling food and goods aswell as other "services" depending on the vendor.

Tillis, the escape.

This particular scene is where Tillis has escaped from Harad the human city, Here she is looking into the valley called mountain pass. As you can see shes had a fair few fights before hand.

Nikki.

The cave in the background is called Gallows which is a large mountain found within the Silken lake.

Cheerwell Maker

Picture of Cheerwell Maker (Che) from the "Shadows of the Apt" series of books.
This scene in particular is taken from book 5 "The Scarab Path" where Che goes off to Khanaphes to learn more about herself.
Khanaphes is an Egyptian like city which has not progressed technology wise for over 500 years.
Che is a beetle kinden, hardworking and stuborn.
She has also learnt the gift of flight and night seeing.

Thank you to Adrian Tchaikovsky for giving me permission to draw his characters and for writing such a fantastic series of books.

Been months since I have drawn anything so I used this as an easy way of breaking back into it hence the basic pose and background.

Tillis & Custurd, Urizen.

Sometimes I become less lazy and decide to put some effort into my pictures, this was one of those times.
Tillis and Custurd sitting in a pool in the underground caves of Urizen. The water in Urizen glows feintly with a blue/green tint it is said to have healing capabilities
I really enjoyed working on this picture and experimented with ways of drawing a background and seem to have found a process that is easy on the hands but gives a great effect.
Characters drawn on paper with black fineliner then scanned into Open Canvas 1.1 where I added the background entirely drawn by hand with a mouse.
Once all the linework had been tidied up I coloured it by hand with a mouse.
