Endearment

Ok, I really do not enjoy shading white fur, I never seem to get it quite right. And after adding all these spots, I will be seeing spots in my sleep for days now I think. Anyway, 2 characters from SL having a nice moment :) The gold haired one is supposed to be a Leopard, and the blue haired one is supposed to be a Cheetah.

Maybe she is coming to see me next week ^.^

Thought I should try to draw FireFira in her gear for once. Still experimenting with different ways of colouring, but I dunno, seems I am actually getting worse at drawing faces. FireFira is also coloured more like the way her creator sees her this time. Finished in Photoshop. FireFira belongs to her player, Becky Ocarina.

Been some time since I drew FireFira the vixen, so I thought I'd give it another try. And I guess it could have gone worse, although I see things that needs fixing. The computer I coloured it on must have a high gamma-correction setting, because now that I look at it on a different PC, I can see its too dark. But oh well. Coloured in photoshop.

With that out of the way, I know this isn't very good. And the JPG conversion killed some of it (See a larger, higher quality version on my site: http://www.furry.org.au/Caliztar/). This is the first drawing I have finished in 6 months, so I am a little rusty. But then again, I was never that good to begin with :P

Drawn by hand, inked, scanned and coloured in Photoshop. I tend to make my pictures look too dark, so this time I tried to make it brighter. Hope it worked.

Furryheart Reference Sheet

Haven't uploaded anything in ages so figured I'd put this one out there. It's a sort of reference sheet for Furryheart. I've changed his appearance somewhat, and I feel he works better this way. I know he looks "blue-ish", but that's just the faint shading. I don't like using grey shading on him since he is already white/grey. It's just too boring.

Okidoki, here is a tip. Never draw when listening to Trigger Happy by Weird Al and watching Trigun. The result can be.. "inspired". Hmm, not that I don't like it, I do. His name.. Fox Tormentor! Ok, lame name, but what do you expect at 6:20am? O! Is that my bed!? Night night!

Furryheart 2010

It's been a year since I finish a drawing, and then I upload 4 at once!? Anyway, I am still "tweaking" my fursona Furryheart, and this is the new (and perhaps final) appearance. Many thinks that Furryheart is a snow leopard, but he is a snow cheetah. I used a more simple shading on this one, but I am happy how it came out anyway. Maybe I need to practice this style more.

It is the strangest thing..

I did this drawing almost 2 months ago. But things happened, and I didn't have the time or will to finish it before now. Partly inspired by the song "Girl Like You" by Bertine Zetlitz.

Birthday gift for a friend.

Err... yeah. Vixen and feline having a little fun. Used alot of layers in Photoshop to colour this one, and it took alot of time. But I think it was worth it.

Guile

New year, new character. Meet Guile the mouse. I know what you are thinking, "he must have been drunk", well yes I was thank you. This is actually one of the fastest drawings I have ever done. Only took me 8 hours from sketch to finish. When I see people uploading masterpieces and saying they've finished it in 15 minutes, it makes me feel the size of an ant.

By the way, he is holding a towel and a soap on a rope, if you were wondering.

Handle With Care

Long time since I finished a drawing! This is my fursona on Second Life - "Furryheart Majestic". Yes, I know he came out looking a bit younger than he actually is, but call it artistic liberty.

The reason I haven't finished more drawings lately is because I came out of the "BI closet" recently and has been spending most my time with a new "friend" :3
