I hired a bird named Bonito to take photos of my journey. He insisted on taking this photo of us together. You can tell he wasn't the best photographer, since we are obscured by nearly half his wing feathers in this snapshot. If you see stray feathers in other photos, you know why.

This was the morning I left for China. Brody wasn't happy I was leaving the country for 2 weeks, that it was 4am, or that I was taking his picture.

Here's a snapshot of me on a hill overlooking the Himalayan Mountains. This is just before I started the hike up. I made the journey hoping the cold native land of the snow leopard would help me transform back from raccoon to snow leopard.
