Nacht Character Sheet

Character sheet commission for NachtSS. His character is a hybrid snow leopard-hyena. He wears the mask of Kroenen from Hellboy (actually one of his alternate masks from the movie). Not an easy character to conceptualise with no prior references, but I think it came out looking quite cool. :)

My scanner was not playing ball with this one, sadly, as the pencil colouring is very soft - you just can't see the shading on the white. I loved the character's designs though and it was fun to do.

Well as I was muddling around with digital stuff, I think I'm finally getting there with a style which is "me". I'd posted the little experiments and speed paintings, a couple of which were heavily influenced by stuff I'd seen from other artists, but I think this is more like the digital adaptation of my traditional style.

Anyway. This took about 90 mins in Photoshop from an old sketch I had lying around. Gift arts for my best friend. ^^ The background is just something from cgtextures.com.
