Striped Hyena

I had this sketch sitting for a while with the one for Savannah Queen. Both were drawn one day at a friend's house, and were intended to be a pair, but I decided otherwise. This one instead got a quick digital colour job.

All the same, stripey 'yena, never drawn one before, enjoy.

Aren't you getting sick of this character yet? :P Again, Tagora = black backed jackal succubus. Inspired by an Asda (Wal-Mart) cheap Hallowe'en set I bought. Booyah.

I'm planning on having the fursuit ready for a meet we have on the 29th, so I thought I'd make a con badge for her. And of course, I've been rather unhappy with the colouring on the last pic. I think the colouring on here is much better, much more "on-form" for me.

The writing is horrible, though. I'm awful at doing writing. I need much more practice at that.

Based off of Da Vinci's "The Human Body", the idea to include this in my art school application portfolio was Blackshuck's.

Sepia Prismacolor pencil on cardstock. Background achieved by wiping a concentrated mix of coffee (1/4 cup of hot water, 6 teaspoons of instant coffee) over the cardstock using a tea towel.
