Sketch for a painting I am doing for a doggie pinup card project. Hopefully it still reads as an old english sheepdog even with the shorter "trimmed" fur.

I normally don't do this kinda art. <.< >.> \r\n\r\nSketch for a painting I am doing for a doggie pinup card project. I am sure I have wounded the spirit of McGruff.

Image: ManEater.jpg   343x691 82934 bytes 2006.01.08

That mask is one of the ones people in India wear on the back of their heads to deter tiger attacks. As you can see, they don't always work. ;)\r\n\r\nApproximately 7x14 acrylics and color pencil.\r\n

Image: DaemonGuy.jpg   560x759 91852 bytes 2005.10.31

Still playing around with the design of this guy. He looks a bit too bipedal in this one (he's supposed to be both bipedal and quadrupedal). Ah well.

Image: Vampire.jpg   707x520 48479 bytes 2005.10.31

A little vampire for the season. Happy Halloween!

Image: DonkeyEvidence.jpg   658x734 79617 bytes 2005.10.18

Art for this coming Midwest Furfest conbook. Their theme this year is a "who done it" mystery type thing. I chose a donkey because my hubby loves them. \r\n\r\ngraphite.

Art for this coming Midwest Furfest conbook. Their theme this year is a "who done it" mysetry type thing. Had to do an aye-aye. The other little animal is a streaked tenrec.\r\n\r\ngraphite.

Image: Sittin.jpg   814x670 97116 bytes 2005.10.10

Just a doodle of that glowy daemon creature. I should be working on other things, like cute n' fuzzy critters that will actually sell... but my brain is rebelling and wants to obsess over aye-ayes and strange hexapods. Hmmph. \r\n\r\nPage from my sketch book, graphite.

Image: WoW.jpg   669x701 119217 bytes 2005.09.22

Image: FiresOfTheSubconsciousSketch.jpg   545x795 101454 bytes 2005.09.06

Sketch for a painting I plan to do. Much bio light love. Creature design and image concept is similar to my "Dream Dancer" pic... but cooler. ;) \r\n\r\n9x12 graphite\r\n\r\nHey, while I'm here... I might as well tell you that I have a bunch of new originals for sale at my site! Go see -

Image: AyeLaugh.jpg   634x742 89827 bytes 2005.07.30

I'm sure you're all sick of the aye-ayes by now. But I'm not! We shall take over the INTERWEB! *evil cackle*\r\n\r\nBTW... this is my character Pagaza, she's missing a toe on her left foot, yes.

Image: AyeRef.jpg   442x692 63357 bytes 2005.07.27

Yet even more aye-aye practice.

Image: OdeToTheGrub.jpg   634x490 68447 bytes 2005.07.25

Ode To The Little White Wiggly Worm.\r\n\r\nI hear aye-aye poetry is much like Vogon poetry.

Image: AzzyNaga.jpg   441x591 53420 bytes 2005.07.18

I drown you all in naga man goodness! Muhuhhahaha!\r\n\r\nThis one's markings is based off of my boa, Azrael. I think I've finally come to a final design for my naga's faces. I find that if they are more human-like, I find them more interesting and appealing. Head, shoulder and chest directly referenced from a photo. I'm practicing my human anatomy once again.

Image: NagaPose.jpg   437x689 64967 bytes 2005.07.17

The sexy naga man commands you to send me all your Twinkies. \r\n\r\nPose totally taken from\r\n\r\nNaga pattern is based on an aberrant desert-phase california kingsnake.\r\n\r\nJust a sketch from my sketchbook.... I'm so tempted to paint this.

Image: BadgeKaida.jpg   346x264 25285 bytes 2005.07.14

4in x 3in acrylic and color pencil conbadge for Kaida.

Image: Pagaza.jpg   466x644 84065 bytes 2005.07.06

My aye-aye character Pagaza, who I play on a Muck. I've grown quite fond of the little primates, weird though they are. They're really challenging to draw, and thus I can't stop drawing them.

Image: RideTheFossa.jpg   538x763 64766 bytes 2005.07.06

My aye-aye character Pagaza riding along the tree limbs on my friend's fossa character Kichomi. They're partners in crime.\r\n

Image: Kichomi.jpg   869x453 59357 bytes 2005.07.06

My friend's fossa character Kichomi. Fossas are really fascinating, being civets that evolved to fill the niche of felines (hence why they look so cat-like). They're also plantigrade, but in this picture he's kind of tip toeing, so he doesn't look like he walks flat-footed. Ah well.
