This was a birthday gift for my friend Aaron. Media used Prismacolor pencils and ink. Hardest part of this picture was just finding a decent shot of a green sea turtle underwater.

I drew this lady after AC 2002 for Caribou...she really likes bats. The scan sucks, but the bat is cute. Prismas and ink as usual.

Image: angel2.jpg   440x567 83682 bytes 2001.11.17

This is a lovely kitty I decided to add wings to, originally I didn't plan wings, but she looked naked without them, so in they went. The Original is currently up on Furbid til Nov. 22. 2001.

Image: Angelcolorsm.jpg   450x643 35593 bytes 2005.02.26

Just a cute little angel raccoon. I originally drew her with no wings, but it didn't look right, wings insisted they be included, so I did it. I like her.\r\n\r\n\r\

Image: Auroravcl.jpg   400x526 33733 bytes 2003.06.26

This is Aurora, she was inspired by a rabbit one of my friend's rescued while on his way back home from the holidays. Prismas and ink.

Here's the final color version of this piece. I am really pleased with how nice this turned out. The original and prints will be available at Califur 2005. Enjoy! Media used, acrylics, colored pencil and ink.\r\n\r\n

Image: bearcolor1.jpg   400x559 23232 bytes 2003.06.26

Here's my first attempt at coloring this son got ink on part of it and so I am going to have to start over. :( However she came out pretty nice as a spectacled bear...I also goofed a bit on the top curve of her belly. *sigh* I still liked how her face came out and the pattern of her spectacled fur. :) Media used Prismacolor pencils and ink. The green line going through is from my scanner, I think I am going to have to break down and get a new one soon. *sigh*

It occurred to me that folks might think I might be dead. *chuckle* I'm not, just been real busy with that thing called life. Here's some of my artwork that is up and coming, as this lady needs color. And yes in case you are wondering, she is a pregnant bear. Media used, ink and paper.

Image: beartaur3.jpg   405x541 43684 bytes 2001.11.17

Someone told me on FurryMUCK that a bear would look strange as a 'taur, I took it as a challenge and several hours later Has this.

Image: BlueSM.jpg   450x619 22949 bytes 2005.02.26

Commission for BlueNinja, color version coming soon. Almost done with it, just need to get the details in. He's a black panther walking at night in the city, same location as the Weiss Rose pic, so it's gonna take some detail work to bring him forward.\r\n\r\

Image: bunny2.jpg   427x638 45632 bytes 2001.12.20

This was drawn for a friend. :) He really liked her too. :)\r\

Image: bunnytaursm1.jpg   325x330 14681 bytes 2003.06.15

I saw a bunnytaur a while back and she was part horse part bunny, and it just looked odd to me. I feel that if you are going to draw a bunny taur it should have a bunny bottom half. So I drew this...she's kinda fluffy and cute. Look for the color version soon. Medai used is ink and paper.

Image: Chained.jpg   350x490 20708 bytes 2004.01.31

Here's a little chained pony...she's just a bit tied up...*chuckle* I'm thinking of making her a palomino paint, but I haven't decided...if anyone has a better idea, feel free to send it to me. Kyrin

One of my firsat serious all acrylic paintings. I found this great photo shoot in a magazine showing this lovely long legged model posing in chains, and just had to draw it...since she had such long legs only a horse would do. :)\r\n<br>\r\nArt copyright Shawna Sandbom 2004

Image: cougarcolorsm.jpg   365x471 28690 bytes 2003.06.15

I just got the new Cher CD, I know admitting to liking Cher...ahhh run away! Anyway she did a neat photo shoot dressed in this fairy costume where she was obviously nude under it all, and I like the pose and imagery so much I had to do something...this is the result. I really love her...but she's up on Furbid anyway, an artist has to make a living. :)

Image: CountrymareSM.jpg   450x627 26519 bytes 2005.02.26

Ah the country, what a view. *grin*\r\n\r\n\r\

Image: Coyotecolorsm.jpg   450x645 36174 bytes 2005.02.26

Sexy and beautiful...she waits in the desert.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\

Image: Crystalsm.jpg   450x626 27558 bytes 2005.02.26

My friend Crystal's character, she's a raccoon-dragon cross...color version coming soon. I love the expression I did on this one, so innocent but you do know better don't you?\r\n\r\

Image: Dragonblindfold.jpg   495x627 58226 bytes 2002.03.29

Sexy male dragon more than ready to play blindman's bluff. *grin* Ink, and colored pencils on colored paper.\r\

Image: father&soncolorSM.jpg   450x342 42221 bytes 2005.05.13

This is a piece I did for my mate, it is a depiction of our son and him playing. Since he is a raccoon taur it was kinda interesting to figure out where all the limbs went. Still not sure how a kyrin/raccoon taur cross should appear, so I made our child a raccoon taur like his dad. Kiddo loves the tails! This piece will appear at Califur, but the original will not be for sale. However I will be doing LE prints. Look for them at my table. Media used acrylics, colored pencil, and inks.\r\n\r\n

Image: father&sonrevsm.jpg   550x400 12837 bytes 2005.02.26

This is a work in progress...colored version to come soon...this is my husband's raccoon taur character and our son, who has taken to climbing on Daddy's head for some reason lately. LOL!\r\n\r\

Image: Fennecvcl.jpg   398x510 27135 bytes 2003.06.26

A little desert fox I did a while back. I'm proud of my background and her jewelery, not to mention the fur effects. Prisma pencils and ink.

Image: foxbuttvcl.jpg   320x410 23905 bytes 2003.06.26

This ended up being Zassa from Trouble's Tales written by Kittiara. :) Prisma pencils and ink.

Image: Greybow1.jpg   399x533 34199 bytes 2001.11.17

I drew this for my friend and adopted FurryMuck brother. Fiddled with fur effects just for the heck of it, came out pretty good if you ask me, don't ask about the green bottle, I have no idea why he has it. :)

Image: hallowkittysm.jpg   427x563 67959 bytes 2002.10.01

A kitty for Halloween. The original of this is also available currently at Furbid. I don't do many black characters, mainly cause the coloring is such a pain in the tail, but she sure did come out nice. More art from me can be viewed at

Image: husky1.jpg   307x432 19644 bytes 2002.05.14

Just a naughty husky femme. *grin* Color version will be at Anthrocon 2002.

Image: innocenttaur1.jpg   292x432 26058 bytes 2002.05.14

"Hiding something, why would you think I was hiding something?" Color version will be at Anthrocon 2002.

Image: jaguarsm1.jpg   360x515 33657 bytes 2003.06.15

I know, she's missing her spots! But I promise the finished piece will have them, but I have found that ink is too harsh for the soft color of fur, so I prefer to do spots with colored pencils. Enjoy.

Image: Jennycolorvcl.jpg   468x363 39623 bytes 2003.06.26

This is Jenny from Trouble's Tales, she has a spin off story written by Moldred, and I drew this picture for him. Prisma pencils and ink.
