The latest reference for my fursona, Lex. Now with Antlers. See I decided I wanted to be part moose too, so now Lex is a cat, wolf, moose. Why? Well whenever I walked into a room I wanted to say with confidence and strength,"A room with a Moose!". That simple really. How he got them in character, well a trophy room and some superglue was involved. I needed to draw techy stuff since I hadn't in a while, so prison bitch outfit was born. Done before the newyears, it's an experiment in colouring the pencil lineart. Behold my Lord of the Rings inspired goblin girl. I'm rather proud of how this came out, the dimples are kind of cute and add a touch of goblin-real-ness. I'm not sure about the armour colour though, I'd started with black and worked up the tone to something I was happy with, but when it came to adding the background I noticed the rusted brown I'd choosen was too close to the dusty dwarfen stone work. It's kind of unfortunate, but I guess it works like camoflage in that environment and that's cool. The background is scaned from "Lord of The Rings-Weapons and Warfare", by Chris Smith. The result of my good buddy merrick asking for a Koopa, but she hasn't got a shell and she can't breath fire and er...other stuff. Made the fire background myself*Is proud* Any who I like to think of this character as a TechnoKnight, follow codes of honour and defending the helpless. She's strikes my a a cross between an ancient Japanese warrior and a questing knight of Ol' Europe. She's a tap naked though...The staff was influence by too much croaching tiger hidden dragon...had to watch one scene about 40 times for Media studies last yearo.o; The knee guards and shin pattern on her kevlar suit look like a skull and ribcage. The Visor is like a knight's for protection, may have a H.U.D.s too;p The bottles/containers are influenced by potions out of Dungeons and Dragons description, on her belt for ease of use. It's old, but I put alot of effort into it and was pleased by some of the smaller details...well mostly the shading and details on Teefs chainaxe. Chal, 8 foot of Kick ass Hyena psycho, much like 18 Wheels of Justice, but without wheels or justice. Special termo-chargo colour background was a mistake, but reminded me of my classic Transformers. Nimple shields and Yellow leather are cool, but socially unacceptible. Gaint blades based on Daikatana are cooler, more so when they're over 6 foot in length. Arrow, T1/T2 tatoo's get girls and trippin' green and purple tatoo's with mystical energy will destroy you all! Chal is named after the Challenger Shuttle.
