My character, Artie, finds himself with a broken tail so he can only sleep on his belly. Add in the fact that in the Cornerian military they shave you and you have a funny looking shepherdmix furry. But the female who is also stranded with him, a doberman furry named Sasha, doesn't seem to be minding the view at all. Time will tell.

A drowning Artie that I don't like the way it turned out. Gah.

Here's Artie with Sasha. I don't like how this one looks, still, I was trying for a more beach approach, sort of like a sand painting.

I started this picture making Artie more unhappy, but then it evolved into this.

Sort of a commission, this is a con badge made for my love Asmodaeus Lupine. There's a trick about it too. Since I emailed it to him and I doubt he'll read this before I actually mail it to him... the sabers and eyes of the two badges I made actually glow in the dark. I love glow in the dark craft paints. :)

Here's the other commission done for my love Asmodaeus Lupine. These two are con badges done on 3X5 index cards, the smallest I've tried before. Again, the eyes and saber glow in the dark.

Trying my hand at a Bernese Mtn. Dog since I want to draw Fuzz, and I need more practice at his breed. *sigh* This turned out better than Fuzz's first picture though. The eyes are normal Bernese Mtn. Dog color though, rather than green. I still like the idea of green eyes.

My mate had a birthday this year. the others are his room mates. Art (c) me. All art (c) me.\r\nSo don't take it!

I'm... impressed. Okay, I'm getting better at this. Sniffin' out a fox? Hmm? :)

blackmouthcur1.JPG

My first try on a black mouth cur... gotta make the nose shine more. Black always gives me so much trouble. *grumble* And since most of my characters are black, I've got to figure out a way to fix this...

A true commission maybe? My 5 year old nephew wanted a fox warrior in his sketchbook and I drew for him. Eventually he asked for me to draw one in pencil (because he saw how it helps) and in my big sketchbook. I inked it and he told me the colors to color it. Everything except the eyes. I would have colored it as a wolf almost (just the face reminds me of a wolf more than a fox) but this was HIS picture. Pink shorts, green sabre, rainbow fur instead of any white, with silver tips on his scruff and tail-tip, this warrior's best friend is (surprise surprise) a 5 year old little boy who he protects from all bad-guys. *just smiles* Not one of my best works, but it was done with a little boy wanting it done when he woke up, and him having to take it home, as well as some of the inking with a little boy leaning on the table and wiggling it from time to time... so I think I did darned well!

I did 4 Cairn Terriers, showing the 4 different colorations that they come in. I don't remember what they're called, but here's Cairn Terrier 1.

I like this one the best, personally. :) Isn't he CUTE! I don't remember what color this is.

Chernak.jpg
Image: Chernak.jpg   716x1100 109945 bytes 2001.09.27

My first attempt at a bad guy. Chernak is a gray fox in a fox furry rp. They had a lot of good guy foxes, but so far no one had brought in a bad guy. I'm planning on rping Cherak as a baddie, but lately I've been quite sick. So the picture is ready. I have the ideas in my head. But I don't have the energy to rp it yet. *sighs* Anyway, here's Chernak.

chiri1acolor.jpg

Something to remember with my coloring. I either get to use colored pencils or, on those brave moments, I do pixel by pixel coloring. AHHHHHHHH. HOURS OF SQUARES! So yes, this one looks blocky. At the same time, I sort of like it. Chiri didn't always have his mate near him. At one time, they got seperated and he missed her lots. This is another one where the mood more took over than I had planned. Soon after this, his mate was reported missing and later was found in a very bad way, barely alive. Thankfully, she's with him now.

How to make a chocolate Lab in one easy step. :P For a contest where the requirements were dogs + chocolate malt. It's actually more of a bully breed (pitbull or mastiff pup) but it works. The LF is for Lightflow.

columbine.jpg
Image: columbine.jpg   350x550 40927 bytes 2001.05.12

I think this is Columbine Snow, a character of mine. I couldn't find the black at first so the iris of her eyes are purple, but rather than fix it on the computer I did sort of like how strange that looks. So I left it.

cricketa.jpg

And here's Jacob, or as his dad nicknamed him, Cricket because when he gets excited he squeaks. I told him I needed to see him for his muscles, but he very strongly insisted on the pillow... shy Crick.

Here is my christmas wolfie all decorated.... doesn't he look PLEASED! *chuckles* Inspired by me telling my love he needs to be inundated with Christmas music, which he actually agreed with, and then me seeing those funny reindeer doggy hats at stores...

dogflash1a.jpg

I had a request by my hubby to draw a superhero furry... and in a bit of a joke asked what he'd think of me drawing our dog as "The Flash." He thought it'd be funny, and I thought it'd be a good chance to try action pose a bit more, something I don't do hardly ever. So here is our pup as "The Flash!" The Flash is copyrighted to DC, so is the costume. And this is the first Flash from the Golden Age, in case you wonder.

ferrellea.jpg

The tip of the wing didn't scan, and the colors are all messed up from the scan. Also, the bottom of the rock didn't scan, and so neither did my signature.\r\n\r\nCopyright is Ferrelle Moon, who is purple-furred and has a white paw so I totally messed up the coloring but by the time I realized it was too late... uhm yeah. Anyway, the rock is at Garden of the Gods in Colorado, and when she told me about the wings I could only think of her up on a rock there. The clouds were wacked like that in the picture I used as a reference, so it was intentional.\r\n\r\nFerrelle Moon is a maned wolf, as can be seen, which is a Pliestocene leftover pretty much, related neither to wolf or fox. The black face was in a picture I used as a reference, so was the black tip to the cheek ruff.

forgivenessa.jpg
Image: forgivenessa.jpg   675x555 72535 bytes 2001.07.06

The natural reaction to a sorry, is forgiveness. That doesn't mean fully going back to where you were before the sorry, but it's a healing of the heart and releasing of any anger. Time shows whether forgiveness was lasting. I rather like how this picture came out.

foxnmousea.jpg

My love was mentioning the other night how he can see himself as different species besides the wolf. Much to my pleasure because I think that humans limiting themselves to one animal are doing a great injustice to what a human is meant to be. But anyway, one of the animals he mentioned was a rat and I got to thinking how my habit is to draw myself as a fox and wondered what would happen if my fox self met his mouse/rat self without knowing who it was... foxes eat mice. *grins*

Fuzz.JPG
Image: Fuzz.JPG   612x861 120840 bytes 2005.11.10

Fuzz, all colored in his goofiness. :P Yes, he's a very goofy guy, and his girlfriend is far better looking, but she doesn't care. He's a Bernese Mtn. Dog furry that I play in a Star Wars roleplay.

This is one of my characters, Grim Reaper. She is an orphaned girl who chose the name to intimidate people\r\nThen the Jedi Asmodaeus took her in and became a father to her. And a Master. Here they are having a sparring match.\r\nGrim (c) me.

haymanquestions.jpg

I came home from visiting my fiance in Ohio to find the air slightly smokey, scented of campfires, and my own breathing encumbered by it. I did not mean for this picture to turn out the way it did when I started (I was stuck inside because of smoke danger levels) but then continued with my feelings and got this fox staring at a ring of stones from a forgotten campfire and the area burned down around her. You can see the beginning of the muzzle marking I'd develop later. The back paws are supposed to look like they've sunk in ash (not a realistic scene, I know, but it's how I felt) and you can see that I took more time on the front paws. \r\n\r\nThe Hayman fire is contained now. God bless the firefighters who helped us and lost their lives. May the other fires out there be put out soon. And may everyone who camps realize that if the conditions are dangerous, DON'T MAKE A FIRE! Even if you follow all the safety rules. Just don't. It's not worth it. It's going to take 100 years for the forests we lost here in Colorado to get back to where they were.

This one is in sketches too if you want a hand at coloring it. :) I chose to color it in my dog's colors, since it's modeled after her. Yes, she has no tail and her eyes are blue. I got a bad scan, and some of the shading on the white is gone. I also had to spend a lot of time cleaning around the image, which is a neat effect I think. The hat is from the musical Oliver Twist, one of my favorites. The inspiration was my nephew telling me to draw with him NOW! Interesting what comes out when you don't think about it and just draw.

An exploration of shading fur. This fox wants a hug!
