Anubis says " You Could be helping.."

The idea behind this piece was to show the great jackal wading thigh deep in an irrigation canal. He searches for a staff that has rolled down an embankment and into the water. He put it down to greet some Egyptian children. One of them mischievously pushed it down the embankment. As he steps in the muddy bottom to feel for it in the murky depths. I watch him and admire his gorgeous physique as he searches. Then upon noticing me he gives a most annoyed stare and points out that I could help.... and into the water I go to assist.
