A friend asked me to do a picture of Buzz in the style of Morrigan from Dragon Age : Origins. I had to take a few 'artistic liberties' to get her into the costume however.

This was originally just a small profile study for a larger picture, but it looked so nice I did a full inking of it using ballpoint pen of all things.

Ballpoint doesn't have many 'pluses' (it takes forever to dry properly, the slightest touch gets it on your hands and smears it over your paper) but one thing it can do is suggest strands of hair well.

My Lords and Masters have decided my services were no longer required on Tuesday. Granted, it's not this bad - I'm filing for unemployment and all that. Oddly, in the exit interview I found myself feeling more and more...well, releived and even happy. So now, I am off to stalk the elusive New England Gainful Employment. In the meantime, all my freetime will mean an art bonanza for you guys and gals. Enjoy what may be a deluge of upcoming uploads!

A bare-bones black and white I'll be coloring up this weekend. I wanted to make some hand-outs and stuff I can share for when I go to FurFright this year, and knowing the slow pace I tend to work at I'd best be getting the Halloween stuff going now!

Chibi Summer Special

Hrrmph, it seems I need a new scanner - the one I'm using is just a tad too small for the paper I now like to draw on. :) Ah well.
This was a fun project to tackle - the 'chibi' style is one I've not really tried to do seriously, and it's requiring that I break some rules that I had previously learned to be correct to pull it off decently. It should be a fun challange for me to work on.
