A couple of days ago Raster was talking about his week off, and brewing a new batch of beer (he's a talented bun like that). It gave me the funny image of him done up as a 'rum-runner' from the days of Prohibition (ask your parents).

While I don't think I've grasped the concept correctly, it does make for an interesting look - going to try adding color to it as well and see what effect it has.

Yeah yeah I know - it's not even Thanksgiving yet. But the way I draw lately, if I don't start now I won't even get half a dozen of these done by the time Christmas rolls around.
The legs are wrong - but the rest of the picture looks all right to me. The new Bamboo Fun is making coloring by computer a real treat I can tell you!

I found an excellent site on the web that detailed some Photoshop tips. I'd never really gotten the hang of using Photoshop for anything besides scanning, but once I read this something *clicked*.

I normally don't do art trades - for some weird reason I just don't like other people drawing my characters (I'm probably the only person in the furry fandom like that. o.O ). However, I found the subject of this request too cute to resist.
If the person who requested it feels the need to do *something* in return, just choose somebody off the recent posts who looks like they are just starting out, and do one of their characters for em. ;)
