I've recently gotten my hands on a copy of what I consider a 'holy grail' for artists...the Simplicity Halloween costume catalog. Over 500 pictures and illustrations of models in various costumes - I can't recommend this enough to anyone learning to draw. You see people, clothing, backgrounds...the works.

Chibi Summer Special

Hrrmph, it seems I need a new scanner - the one I'm using is just a tad too small for the paper I now like to draw on. :) Ah well.
This was a fun project to tackle - the 'chibi' style is one I've not really tried to do seriously, and it's requiring that I break some rules that I had previously learned to be correct to pull it off decently. It should be a fun challange for me to work on.
