The phoenix cannot heal herself, she can only take the pains of others until she dies, and is reborn.

This is part of the Symphonies in Fur Minor portfolio that premiered at AC. My piece is based on the song 'Ribbons Undone' by Tori Amos - which is a very good song, I highly recommend. Sorry about the watermark and small size, those were stipulations to posting it.

Part of an older 'Elemental Dragons' series. This one would be Air.

Aww he's so cute! I've been thinking a lot about his inner workings actually. I figure these guys eat pretty much anything, and whatever they can't digest and convert into cells/energy, they pass on to a second stomach which further works said 'food' down (I use the term loosely.) This stomach breaks down the chemicals and whatnot to become fuel for their cute little flames! I'm sure this results in the dragons eating very interesting things, and making very, um, interesting poos... What, too indepth for you all? \r\n\r\nAlt description: He shall be mine, and I shall call him squishy, and he shall be MY SQUISHY.\r\n

A little gryphon stalking through the woods at night. Yay, another gryphon! This one has a background though!

This ethereal phoenix catches hold of a newly forming star to experience something amazing - cosmic birth.

Nothing too special about these guys, I just wanted to try doing companion pieces. They're very small, and were at the Anthrocon Art Show. They didn't sell unfortunately, but that does mean I can take them to the office at least. :>

A swan princess. I must say I kinda like the angle on this one.

The poor little frog wanted to be a majestic unicorn so badly, he took a trip to the local wizard. Unfortunately, the wizard was not a good one, but the frog doesn't seem to mind. At least he got the cool horn and tail.

He's walking! Yes indeed!

This fella (an Egyptian Vulture) is looking for water - something that's usually considered important for most desert dwelling creatures. (Who am I kidding, it's important for most LIVING creature, but it's just that much harder to come by in the desert.) The large red stone is attuned to him, and the smaller stones - I'd call them lapis lazuli but I didn't actually LOOK at lapis lazuli when I painted them - are attuned to the water element. When he drops his stone anywhere, the surface becomes kind of a 'you are here' map, and the smaller stones pull themselves to the appropriate location. So he can tell, roughly, which direction to fly in to get to water. The stick is hollow, and he drops the stones through them to get a more accurate reading.

This was a little gift painting to Windseeker, because she's such a nice person and a great artist to boot.

This is based on TWO of my pets! She actually looks a lot like Crackers (cockatiel), but the colors are all Zed (betta).
