It's funny, looking at how I draw myself now, and how I used to three months ago... ugh... K showed me some of the old art that I came him copies of... *cringe* Realllllly old stuff... I swear to the gods, he's gonna blackmail me with that stuff one of these days...

Yes, this conversation actiually occured between me and a customer. Only it ended instead with my manager coming up and telling her to leave. Just for refference, I work at the Campus ID place on my campus, and this was drawn when the rush weeks were upon us.

Moral of the story: your scheduling issues are not our problems. So please don't bite our heads off. Especially when some of us can bite off your's.

An experiment I did with my feral form as the subject. I first laid down the red prismacolor marker, then put on the colored pencil. I think that it turned out rather well. The one downfall are the marker overlaps/lines. If I could find a way to illiminate those, this would be quite a nice techinique for pieces that are dominated by a certain color.

Don't stare at it too long, you'll get eye cancer. XD Not too shabby for a first strike at oils, at least I think. I do find myself enjoying the intensity of hue that oil paint produces... that and it's just fun to mix. ^^ I do have some issues with how messy things are in some spots, then again oil was never meant to be precise on a small scale.

Originally I had no intention of entering this contest, but this idea kinda randomly popped into my head during a rather violent nightime thunderstorm (yes, we get thunderstorms in the dead of winter, even though we are normally known for our blizzards) I thought of the wild storms that Theus described on the home planet of the lockjaws. Throw in insomnia-induced hyperactivity and my demented muse, and you get this. The lockjaws being Rippington and Kitra just... happened. XD

LOL, I know, the pose looks severely fooked, don't it? It was a rather ill-fated attempt at showing Mateem's kinda wierd sense of moving around. She's about to push herself back with her arms to launch her back legs against the curve of the stone, and use that trapped energy to leap towards... whatever is in front of her. I swear some of my muse's ideas would look SO much better as animations... --;
