I figured that as long as I'm uploading all my paintings, I'd put this crap here. I did this back in '98, when I was still just a young, inocent soul. I also didn't know how to paint.

The picture is a little dark, but I promise that when I get good lighting (that doesn't reflect off the glass) I'll take a better, clearer picture. This is my only wolf in pastels. pretty, isn't he?

This is a "tribute" to the country I'm living in, Costa Rica. I'm still impressed at how they managed to keep so many endangered species alive. One of them is the jaguar. I was going to make it half tucan, but its only my second gryph, so I'll leave that till I'm more experience. For the gryph: crayons and markers, watercolor for the rest. its missing a lot of the background.©Melanie Haslam
