Thorn is not only a wicked artist, but a great friend. She's always done me little doodles n' really have appreciated our chats over the years :d

A little gift for Kita-Rose of DA.

She's a sweetie and her artwork is outstanding. She has a beautiful control over colors and an ability to make her art work extremely smoothe. :}

I decided to doodle up her little (semi-new) character, Vivian. She struck me as interesting and I had to draw the little pup. Ha ... So yea. She has a candy cane bone.

Anyway. Did this for Allison. Cause she's an uber sweetie.. This is a little Holiday Santa Surprise for her :D Enjoy it hon!

Blah. I've problems with shadows beneath the chars. c_C; Gonna hafta' work on that. But tried new colorin' techniques on the figures. IE: Usin' a multiply layer of 'yellow' for the lockjaw shadows.. and Frisket's lines being segmented between her cream and gold divisions o_o; I like.

Tambelon according to the My Little Pony series was a 'dark land' ruled over by this evil 'god' of sorts. A ram called Grogar. He had a black bell around his neck and could summon magic and was trying to take over Dreamvalley first, and then all of Ponyland.

I was really inspired.. as I watched the episode last night with my roommate. (who cursed profusely at me because she's horribly addicted to MLPs now and she had an early class in the morning, yet -had- to watch this :D ) So it was funny. Never the less I decided to draw my own take of Grogar :D

This time drew Frisket and Nall-dog in Road Rover uniforms o_o; Granted I'm gettin' a -bit- more use to the armor.. it's still difficult t'draw... More so to color. @_x; My brain hurts.

A gift for Kei. I decided to go back to my own drawing roots as to what made me first start drawing in the first place. It was the show Road Rovers. Currently rehooked onto the idea and decided to doodle Kei up in the traditional armor n' the like ^.^

I think in my mind of minds, I was thinking of Joan Osborne's work... "Crazy Baby"... While little in the song relates to Tyler and I (as we don't smoke or anything c.C ... Just.. the mood of that song caught me up when I was doing this.

Tyler often falls asleep laying on my chest. (ha. no 'pillow' jokes ;> ) Never the less, while I wasn't sure if I'd like this when I started it... (there are still my knit pics)... I'm over all pleased with this.

Honestly I was just BSing around in class and doodled a happy little pouncing Frisket... and what better to pounce than my all time favorite pony (in plush form; sadly Hasbro never made her into a plush), Sweetpop. She's my favorite. One I had lost as a child, and Tyler had replaced for me.

Anyway. Yea. This is me around ponies. No. Seriously. I go into a hyper 'OMFG! PONIES! PONY PONY PONY'.

Everyone has obsessions. This one is at least in colorful plastic. :)

I drew this for Kylen for several reasons. Be it the hardships she endures or the simple fact she's a fantastic artist who doesn't get as much fanart as she deserves.

One reason primarily is she was a huge inspiration to me when I was first starting out and sort of a tribute to her and her artwork. Only wish she'd draw more and share it with the world again. Never the less, here's to you, Kylen. Enjoy. :)

Image is of her Japanese Spitz character, Alethia. The colors muddied a smidge from what I originally had intended, but for a quick doodle in class, not bad? :)

While trying to root up my old style of drawing faces, I did happen to do this little doodle I liked. I kept adding onto her, until she seemed to take on a 1920's glow to her.

I wanted a boa, and the dress made it seem more 1920's. Tyler suggested a strand of pearls instead of a choker, seeing how that was the fashion back then. The glamor of the 1920's is a stunning one. I really wish that type of fashion would rebirth itself onto our present day.

I'm not entirely sure I like the BG. I was playing around with the idea of a simple 'spot light' effect. Eh. It's okay. But I've it saved on layers if I choose to fix it on a later date.

Ooo. Whatsat?! ... Why snow of course!

Originally I had done this on the 17th (before Tyler came down to visit). But my computer crashed several times during my coloring of the piece and it didn't save. Giving up, I only decided to color it today after seeing Tyler off and me being in a mood to get my mind off things.

Just Nall and Frisket playing in the snow. Seems like Frisket is more 'Dude. WTF'.. and Nall (as he is RL) is very laxed in snowy/cold weather.

A lot more innocent than it seems. My boyfriend, Ty, has a tendancy to fall asleep laying on me and sorta tribute to that. :) I miss'em. That n' I wanted to draw playful puppies. Originally was gonna draw her all 'ARG! Tickle me and DIE' but then that expression came out n' I kept it :}

Well I decided to see what Tyler's char would be if he were an American Indian Dog like Frisket. Well this was the result after a few sketches and swatches of colors picked out by my boyfriend.

He wanted a long-haired AI dog with bone-colored claws, white paw tips, teal tail tip, and blue-gray body. .. Jade collar fastened around his neck with a snowflake tag. :)

I had decided I needed to practice drawing Frisket in more animated non-anthro poses. Doodled her up and posted her. But something was missing.

A collar. Due to something I bought recently (Ty knows XD ) I decided to give her a pink collar.. but I wanted a unique tag... I decided to give her a spiral with a dangly heart at the end. I love the spiral shape :)

So yea. Frisket running.

I thought it was funny. Tyr' (whom I met at AC04) has been such a mom. I can remember at AC she bringing me chocolate strawberries n' food cause I was stuck at the tables a lot. She's been such a sweetie ever since and so glad I met her. Decided to doodle something. But what?

Gasp. Since Tyr is such a momma-bird..lets give her a little baby Frisket to handle! Yea! ... BTW: The toaster started it. Really. o_O;;

Well decided to make my own type of Halloween critter. Hey. Halloween is snazzy. I decided to lend some color to Hex and make her tail tip like a candy-corn... add a crow-skull design to the back of her ears, bats/halloween stockings, and a snazzy pumpkin corset. It isn't the same as the inked version I had designed, but I had forgotten to ink the lace.

The kitten in the picture is a very old character of mine I created back in 2000 -- Graymalkin (based of Macbeth)

Yesterday was my day off from classes. Decided to doodle a bit n' had a strange concept in mind.

A black fox named Hex for Halloween. (LOVE halloween..especially since my birthday is on the 29th of Oct)

Never the less, after looking at some images of silver and black foxes, decided on what I was gonna do. Halloween stuff. Sadly I ran out of room on the paper and didn't realize until I was nearly done inking. The legs look too short -- And not positive why.. as the torso n' arms are porportionate.. Oh well.

I'm probably going to do some symbols down her spine... Anyway. Jus' a doodle.

I did this for Fenris. She's one of those types that really has a heart of gold.

I've not had time to finish her badge yet (I'm SLOW when it comes to traditional media colors :P ) So thought I'd do a gift. At AC she found me a pony, and one of my all time favorite cartoon characters: Sanrio's Spotty Dottie stuffed animal. It was really special :D Thank you Fen.

Well the funny thing about art, it's constantly evolving. You learn techniques and you lose them if you don't practice them. I use to love working in real media..but today try and work in computer instead. Never the less...

Here is an evolution of Frisket..from earliest to latest.. From late 2000/early 2001 to late 2004.. She's come a long way in a short time... As well as I'd like to consider my art.

Original name of Frisket was a gunslinger named Dakota. Originally she was not to be my persona. She was later brought back in a 'were' form and always had a tiara of feathers. Now..she's evolved to more of a representation of myself.

Years ago, when I was still in High school I had my first persona, Doubt. She was made before the fad of wacky colored canines/vulpins, where as Huskie and Jade were the only other people I could remember at the time having a unique colored character.

I redrew her... Changed her hair from brown to blue --As it seemed to fit her better. The originals are hideous and makr a vast improments from me over the years:

Well last night in Murray, we had a tornado. Stuck down on the 1st floor of the dorms, decided to draw. I tried to reflect in my old style of wolf I use to draw.. Long before Wolf's Rain (Ha. Posers O_o; -tease-) I had a wild fascination about large opening mouths.

I decided to play with my were' character and just play with different expressions. One reason she's cut off is I ran out of paper room n' this was the only doodle I had I liked.
