In EDU Psychology, I doodled a bit. I decided to try my hand not at an adult, or a puppy, but an adolescent... My species of choice? I decided to make a lanky little African Wild Dog pup just for fun/practice.
I like how she came out. Decided to name her "Emeza" after the Swahili word for 'puzzle'. I felt that was fitting. African Wild Dogs always remind me of a puzzle.. Complicated markings and all.
Dunno. This picture appeals to me. There's a few nitpicks (with the paws farthest from viewer) but I like it. :}

There wasn't really any anger behind the piece when I did it. More or less I wanted to draw 'cartoony' and teeth. Normally when I draw snarling figures they're my were's and usually a lot of violence implied behind them.
Decided to take Frisket out of the element of being 'cute/fluffy/cuddly' and really give her some bite. I really like how the face and front legs came out.
Dunno :} I've more thoughts but they can be said later.

My first time using Prisma markers c.c; They were the school's sets and had been used well for 2 years prior. Some of the colors were faded..and thus jus' built layers.
I really like Prisma markers..and if they weren't so expensive, I'd so get them ._.; But nearly $3 a piece, it's a very tough buy..But yea. Fell in love with'em ^_^
It was a piece I did to entertain the kids at Louisville Male High School -- show them what I can do and for me to experiment with a new media. They were entertained ad so was I. Just a basic image of Halo :}

I did a quick little image for HollyAnn -- the purple vixen.
She's an utter dear heart. I just wanted to do somethin' to show her I appreciate her. :) Drew an LJ user pic. I did the actual icon, but uploaded the larger version (unedited for most part) and you'll just have to see her journal to see the LJ user pic.

I decided to do this last week. I did a bunch of faces and this face stuck out on the paper. Well doodling I ran across a problem. I ran out of room on the paper. The composition of her body was then altered considerably to fit the dimentions of the paper. I originally wanted her rearing up.
I've been very stressed lately as I've mid-degree reviews; basically judgement of my art. I doodled this in hopes of unstressing myself. Eitherway, I really like how the face came out.
Notice she's running with the wind opposed to against it - meaning the hair would be swept forward, not back. (This again dictated by the fact I ran out of room on the paper)
My wrist is/was killing me thus didn't really work on it too hard on the computer coloring due to pain

I designed the BG for the aspect that if it's put on a dark t-shirt, it'll really pop out n' look really snazzy.
Anyway, this is for the MLP Convention Mascot contest. I'm hopin' to win a nifty prize ^_^ Either a Pearly Baby pony (mail order) or MIB Pony (G1)
Anyway. The theme was "From Another Universe." Decided to make a space themed unicorn...
I'm going to submit a PDF file for the contest people to able to take out the moon, stars and BG if they so desire. But for presentation reasons, they're there.

For the past week I've been struggling in an art rut. And this was a doodle that transpired in one of my Thursday classes. I decided to finish it for kicks and work on it.
While not the best piece out there, I personally am surprised and pleased how it came out. :) I forget what exactly my inspiration was - beyond the image of rabbits out of hats (hence Tyler's bunny char by her foot) But felt that too cliche. So just played on what known tricks magicians did and put'em. I wanted some simple BG.. to help the image pop out.

Anyway, today in class we were to make sculptures with our playdoh that we made. Many made little flat things or rounded pots and 'cigarette trays'. As you know playdoh is EXTREMELY soft and floppy. It does not do well being sculpted and generally falls apart without skeletons/armatures.
Well I played around, and came up with that. A Horse.... I didn't use any armatures/skeletons and it's all free handed. I'm pretty proud of it ^_^ Considering it is PLAYDOH :P I'm really proud cause the class was half in awe n' my teacher was amazed I was able to do it without the aid of skeletons or any clay tools.
Anyway. Yea. :)

Well I had met Kei... and re-addicted her to MLPs. I love you Kei XD
Anyway she was having problems coming up with a MLP Design, so I doodled one up for her. :D She also loves Mountain Boys, so made her char a little boy-buddy :)
Anyway. For Kei, who loves Apples. Thus I give you Apple Tart. The boy pony is Comet (As we both love the Mountain Boy pony Fireball. Sorta a play of inspiration off of that toy.

Well this is for Heidi (Ty's sister ^_^ )
She loves Harry Potter and I rehooked she n' Jaclyn back to the Pony vibe. It was only fitting, after drawing Jac as a pony, to fit Heidi as one too :} She wanted originally for me to do her as a wizard. Well this seemed more fitting. Her familiar was to be a lemur.. So. Yea :D
We'll name the Lemur "Scribbles". :}
Anyway, to fit with the Harry Potter theme, I created Spellcast for her. :} Fitting. I sorta like it. Yay ^_^

I picked out Selkies. Love the myth and it's always interesting to learn about older myth stories. :} Anyway. I like it. If someone wants to color it, go for it.
Just remember by myth standards they've dark hair, pale skin and big dark eyes.

Dunno. Doodled Zero and Halo t'gether sometime earlier this week and slowly inked it. My wrist is messed up again. Yay. I really like this pic. Think it came out really decently. Really loved how the coloring on the arm of Halo came out. :}

Well like Tyler designing Wisp, the son of Halo and Zero, the other is a daughter named Slip Stream. She's a water element.
A branch of coral makes up her horn and hooves. Her coloration was inspired by the muddy river banks (henced tried to use watery greens.) The fish fins are resulted from Zero's spikes, but also to fit with the water theme.
After all, Fire + Ice = Water

Blah. I drew a template and Tyler designed this ALL himself. There are a few things I will tweak about it at a later time.. Namely because my digital skills in portraying smoke/mist/fog are lacking.
Not to mention I had better ideas after I finished it. Never the less, we were contemplating what if Zero and Halo had kids. One result is Fire+Ice=Mist/Fog/Steam
And Wisp was born

First of all I want to say by no means do I claim to be good at male bodies. But as Tyler said, I need to practice if I want to learn. So I tried. I gave it my all. I know I've a lot of reworking to do to understand the male body (especially their arms/torso/hips)... However, I think I did decent despite my lacking ability in males.
I drew this for Tyler and for the upcoming contest(s) involving this character. Zero's information is all lined up as well as a small image of his non-anthro form. I think it came out decent... Personally I like the tail. Pretty tail :D

Wow. Keep forgettin' photoshop elements makes things 'lighter' when you're doing them and darkens them when you take them out of the program.
I might have to go back n' alter it a bit. The colors are a bit darker than what the should have been :/ Damnit. If Elements saved how it looked on my screen, I'd be all happy. But never the less....

Alright. While I do play this character on other games than just XMM, I thought since I am the wizard for that game, is played else where as this, this is the most reasonable Character sheet.
Granted, on one Evolution X-men based game, she is not a electrokinetic lycanthropmorph, but a dragon morph with minor pyro abilities. Anyway. I thought to give it a shot n' doodled it out. There are a lot of things I'm not happy with, but over all, I guess it's okay. I'm extremely rusty on drawing people :P
But hopefully for those who ever want to draw Melsa (Yes...original name, eh? S'what I get for naming her back when I was 12 :P ) -- This fall starts the 9th year I've had this character. Pretty damn impressive if you ask me.

900x652 88747 bytes 2004.08.14
Decided to draw Melsa's lycan form in a different style than I normally draw her.. more cartoony as I draw Frisket.
Sorta like it like this. Lets me play with facial features a bit more. There are still things I don't like about it but over all, pretty nice.
Her wolf form, by the way, is an Artic Wolf -- hence the lanky n' floofiness... which.. I need to work on too. She needed to be floofier C_c;
Melsa(c)Melissa O'Brien 2004
NOTE:
Anatomy on the wolf.. .quick points -- Yes, she has TWO tails. She always has the markings under her eyes. She's electrokinetic --meaning able to shed excess bio-electricity in the form of shocks.

Well I wanted to do a Kirin. A friend of mine, Jaggyd, has a Kirin character and she sorta inspired me a bit to get out there n' create my own.
Originally I was going to do an adult kirin but decided against it and branched out at doing a foal. Maybe I'll do her adult version later. I personally love the face. ... The face and body are nice -- However I've not owned horses in a number of years and see foals upclose and personal in over a decade. Never the less my foal's legs aren't as long/spindly as they probably should be.. .
All in all I am happy with the piece.... Her name is Wish. :}
