I originally did this as a 10 minute doodle a night or so ago. I was really digging the dynamics of the pose... It was jus' fun. The sketch I think was a bit stronger.. But..Not too terribly bad over all.

I left the black lines, and that defining around her color zones in a play with 'comic style'. I like it -shrugs- Pretty good for a quick job. :)

I think in my mind of minds, I was thinking of Joan Osborne's work... "Crazy Baby"... While little in the song relates to Tyler and I (as we don't smoke or anything c.C ... Just.. the mood of that song caught me up when I was doing this.

Tyler often falls asleep laying on my chest. (ha. no 'pillow' jokes ;> ) Never the less, while I wasn't sure if I'd like this when I started it... (there are still my knit pics)... I'm over all pleased with this.

Ha ha.. My Little Ponies. Fear me. Ahem.

Eitherway, this was a design I had in my head and decided to go ahead and share it. :) Summer/windy wing ponies are a little larger than the baby ponies. They're delicate in build and have large butterfly wings and symbols pertaining to nature or summer.

I decided to play on the theme. Crow Berry is a Windy Wing (as the symbol is a bird.). Her symbol is a crow holding a sprig of mulberry.

Originally I was going to play with mauve and teal as a dominate color but it didn't turn out as well as I thought it might in my head. I think the peach/tangerine and mulberry/raspberry colors play off the name and accent the design better.

I drew this after my Art Teacher talked about the 7 virtues. They're hard to depict without being cliche. I know this is probably cliche, but I just REALLY wanted to do a Crow-mask Labrinyth-esque style.

My Valentines submission for the year. Ha. Shoot me. Anyway was in a drawing rut, and somehow this took form on my paper. Yay. C_c; Jus' playin' with different coloring techniques/ideas.

I really liked the butterfly-angel wings.. They're butterfly n' bird..all in one! Ha. There are of course things I'd change, but as is.. I like it. -- The outfit was inspired from stuff from fredericks.com ..

There wasn't really any anger behind the piece when I did it. More or less I wanted to draw 'cartoony' and teeth. Normally when I draw snarling figures they're my were's and usually a lot of violence implied behind them.

Decided to take Frisket out of the element of being 'cute/fluffy/cuddly' and really give her some bite. I really like how the face and front legs came out.

Dunno :} I've more thoughts but they can be said later.

I thought it was funny. Tyr' (whom I met at AC04) has been such a mom. I can remember at AC she bringing me chocolate strawberries n' food cause I was stuck at the tables a lot. She's been such a sweetie ever since and so glad I met her. Decided to doodle something. But what?

Gasp. Since Tyr is such a momma-bird..lets give her a little baby Frisket to handle! Yea! ... BTW: The toaster started it. Really. o_O;;

In EDU Psychology, I doodled a bit. I decided to try my hand not at an adult, or a puppy, but an adolescent... My species of choice? I decided to make a lanky little African Wild Dog pup just for fun/practice.

I like how she came out. Decided to name her "Emeza" after the Swahili word for 'puzzle'. I felt that was fitting. African Wild Dogs always remind me of a puzzle.. Complicated markings and all.

Dunno. This picture appeals to me. There's a few nitpicks (with the paws farthest from viewer) but I like it. :}

I think it was Neogeen that suggested I draw her as a Crow (along with Tyler) and an Orca

I drew this for Kylen for several reasons. Be it the hardships she endures or the simple fact she's a fantastic artist who doesn't get as much fanart as she deserves.

One reason primarily is she was a huge inspiration to me when I was first starting out and sort of a tribute to her and her artwork. Only wish she'd draw more and share it with the world again. Never the less, here's to you, Kylen. Enjoy. :)

I did this for Fenris. She's one of those types that really has a heart of gold.

I've not had time to finish her badge yet (I'm SLOW when it comes to traditional media colors :P ) So thought I'd do a gift. At AC she found me a pony, and one of my all time favorite cartoon characters: Sanrio's Spotty Dottie stuffed animal. It was really special :D Thank you Fen.

I doodled her out non-anthro.. Hopefully she'll like it ^_^

Meh. Had a devil of a time figuring out the leg positions. Never the less I feel the picture came out decently. The coloring job isn't what I expected, but I'm at least satisfied with it.

To compliment my boyfriend's character, Zero.. I made Frisket to a fire unicorn. I found a lava picture that was really neat and altered it for the background. Cropping and adding a filter or two. I'm over all pretty pleased, considering I struggled with a few spots on her. (Coloring is still subpar in my eyes :/ )

Originally I had done this on the 17th (before Tyler came down to visit). But my computer crashed several times during my coloring of the piece and it didn't save. Giving up, I only decided to color it today after seeing Tyler off and me being in a mood to get my mind off things.

Just Nall and Frisket playing in the snow. Seems like Frisket is more 'Dude. WTF'.. and Nall (as he is RL) is very laxed in snowy/cold weather.

Well the funny thing about art, it's constantly evolving. You learn techniques and you lose them if you don't practice them. I use to love working in real media..but today try and work in computer instead. Never the less...

Here is an evolution of Frisket..from earliest to latest.. From late 2000/early 2001 to late 2004.. She's come a long way in a short time... As well as I'd like to consider my art.

Original name of Frisket was a gunslinger named Dakota. Originally she was not to be my persona. She was later brought back in a 'were' form and always had a tiara of feathers. Now..she's evolved to more of a representation of myself.

Well. Decided to finally do it. I made a ref' sheet for Frisket including a few color dots, information, and a concrete list of traits I'm gonna be following myself.

Admittedly, I made the paws WAY too big. C_c; They should not be that big in the back, but blah. It was a late night doodle. I use to draw Frisket's claws black, but I think the flesh work with her colors a lot better.

I decided to doodle up her little (semi-new) character, Vivian. She struck me as interesting and I had to draw the little pup. Ha ... So yea. She has a candy cane bone.

While trying to root up my old style of drawing faces, I did happen to do this little doodle I liked. I kept adding onto her, until she seemed to take on a 1920's glow to her.

I wanted a boa, and the dress made it seem more 1920's. Tyler suggested a strand of pearls instead of a choker, seeing how that was the fashion back then. The glamor of the 1920's is a stunning one. I really wish that type of fashion would rebirth itself onto our present day.

I'm not entirely sure I like the BG. I was playing around with the idea of a simple 'spot light' effect. Eh. It's okay. But I've it saved on layers if I choose to fix it on a later date.

Tambelon according to the My Little Pony series was a 'dark land' ruled over by this evil 'god' of sorts. A ram called Grogar. He had a black bell around his neck and could summon magic and was trying to take over Dreamvalley first, and then all of Ponyland.

I was really inspired.. as I watched the episode last night with my roommate. (who cursed profusely at me because she's horribly addicted to MLPs now and she had an early class in the morning, yet -had- to watch this :D ) So it was funny. Never the less I decided to draw my own take of Grogar :D

I decided to do this last week. I did a bunch of faces and this face stuck out on the paper. Well doodling I ran across a problem. I ran out of room on the paper. The composition of her body was then altered considerably to fit the dimentions of the paper. I originally wanted her rearing up.

I've been very stressed lately as I've mid-degree reviews; basically judgement of my art. I doodled this in hopes of unstressing myself. Eitherway, I really like how the face came out.

Notice she's running with the wind opposed to against it - meaning the hair would be swept forward, not back. (This again dictated by the fact I ran out of room on the paper)

My wrist is/was killing me thus didn't really work on it too hard on the computer coloring due to pain
