This is a study I'm doing for a painting I'd like to do on a feather when work stops killing me. I did this on scratchboard in about ten minutes while my gaming group was yapping about their characters (bow to Jaxeel). Copyright 2003 Mel Stanley, and don't you forget it.

This is the debut of the character I've chosen to represent me; Tsesere the black phoenix. This creature embodies my rage and my passion; my hatred, and my destruction. Tsesere is my dark side. I recently acquired a set of Prismacolour markers that were on sale at a local art mart. I learned two things; Prismacolour markers both rock, and make me high. An image drawn in mechanical pencil that I've been wanting to display for quite some time. First, I couldn't get to a scanner, then I couldn't get to Photoshop, then I couldn't figure out how to get the bloody blue lines off the image. But I finally got it right.
