My wolf chara, Borea. Her name is latin and means North.
You could say that she is semi-inspired by Balto. First I made a character, who was supposed to be Balto's sister, but then she started to evolve into something totally different, thus becoming Borea.
I've been thinking about writing a story or two about her and her pack, but only time will tell if it really ever happens.

I drew this once when I was feeling a bit down for no obvious reason, and wanted literally to break out of it. The alternate description for this pic would've been: "Congrats, you just got Miranda MAD."
Also a perfect excuse to practise drawing chains.

I wanted to try something different, so here ya go: An anthro snake! It lost something of it's snake-likeness the moment I gave it legs, but I still think it's cool. I was going for an aztec style on his clothing and accessories, but ended up making them up as I drew. You got any idea how hard it is to find decent reference pics on aztec clothing and jewelry over the internet?

Another classic aniamal combination: Dragon-horse! (or drase or horgon) He's called Efferri, (latin, 'to pride oneself') he's young, he's strong, he's good-looking, he knows it, he's arrogant, he's overconfident, he's general thorn in everyone's side, he's already getting right to your nerves, right?
But he's also the only male of the four or five dragon characters I've created this far, so the girls will just have to endure.

Yet unnamed dragon character. I love the feeling of grace and smoothness on her. (Yes, it's most definitely a female.) This migh belong to sketches directory, but I felt it deserved a bit 'nobler' place.

My lizard character Bantaia show's how I pretty much felt when I got the approval e-mail.
This pic is product of pure ramdomness and sheer boredom. I just wanted to draw her in flamenco dress. I didn't put too much effort in the coloring, even less on the shading. The whole pic is really done just for laughs.

My Spirit fancharacter Shoshone hippocampified. Haven't drawn much hippocampies, but it turned out alright.

Eneken is feeling blue. To him it seems that all the other gryphons have already found a mate. I made this to go with the lyrics of Sacha's 'I Feel Lonely'.

Mbingu Almazi, cheetah priestess of the moon. Her name means 'sky diamond'. I'm overall very happy with this, except it got a bit chewed up by jpg.

One day I just started sketching a coyote head with a blue pencil during a slow arts lesson and liked how it came out, so I kept going untill I had one of my best self portraits ever in front of me. I don't even care about the face being slightly lopsided.

This is my first color-pic of myself ever. And it shows. *gag* My coloration has changed quite a lot since then, I'll see if I can upload a better pic anytime soon.

Yes, I'm among the sorry individuals who cling to their lost childhod via My Little Ponies. It would seem that this wasn't exactly what Merrypaws had in mind, but starcloud doesn't seem to mind.
