I'm working on a collaboration with Kaiven and Pomander - Kaiven did the sketch for this piece, I did these inks, and Pom will be coloring it. Kaiven, me (Kit), and Pom hanging out and drawing!

I sketched this during a plane flight (I'm down in LA now), and I had no reference material and couldn't remember what blue jays look like. ;P

(Let's ignore the fact that in reality a stoat would most likely *eat* the bird...)

Caracal Fennec Avatar Take 2

Slightly edited version of the avatar that I uploaded yesterday for Elijah "Caracal" the fennec, because he wanted his full ears included, and didn't like the way the muzzle looked. Hopefully this one's better...XD

Decided I liked the sketch enough to color it even though I think the angle of his muzzle is slightly off compared to the angle of his eyes. :P I like doing digital colorations of pencil sketches using tools under the "tint" menu in Painter IX...sorta like watercolors but easier to control.
