I spent a lot of time with the details of this piece, like the drops on the window and making the portrait look painted. Most of those details are lost in this version though, as it's shrunk down. My monitor is pretty bright, hopefully this doesn't look like a slab of blackness of other monitors. D: Thanks again Escafanatic421, you have my eternal gratitude.

It took a few references for me to know what that even was! ^^; She made me such a lovely drawing for her half, that I was inspired to attempt a background using real media for mine. If I could do it again, would have done some things differently (like the window's sheen) but all in all it was a learning experience!

I really enjoy the way he portrays Thoth in his webcomic, so I wanted to make something based on that. This survived my Compegeddon Crash 2011 and I was able to finish it tonight.
