I obviously need work on my anatomy, especially around the wings and eyes.

This Drake is displaying warning colors (Red for "Stay away", and white to grab attention) using the chromataphores and phospholipids that cover its wing membranes. This picture is what I call "National geographic" because I'm not usually the kind to draw lots of gore and such, and it sounds a little nicer than saying "Gory." \r\n
